Yeah, I remember the old days when people just dev'ed, there are very few left NRGZ is one, MDJ another.

But these guys deved for a lot of devices they didnt even own...

Recently XDA had lost a lot of good devs and has seen good devs like xboarder jump ship...

its really sad, it is making me think that the way to avoid disappointment is to avoid these devices...Take the Acer Iconia tablet....there were about 10 people cooking for the tablet, then after one argument 8 of them left and stopped developing....I guess we could all look at the mods here for their lack of moderation!!

Bingo...they deved and deved and deved...i remember once for the HTC HD2, MDJ pushed 6 updates in 1 day....that is freekin insane, and another time he didnt sleep for 3 days and the people using the thread had to stop DL'ing the roms to try and force the guy to go to bed!!

THAT IS A TRUE DEV!!

Due to the LACK of moderation from the so called mods - directed at what happened in the Acer Iconia Forum - , and the lack of staying power of these new devs - directed at xboarder and melvin - these devised are turning into good paper weights.

What is the point of deving for about a months and dropping a project? Doesn't work in real life!!

I guess they like the superstar feeling for a while then move onto their new skateboard or PS3 game...

Really sad affair

They're getting really tired of the devices now out. We all do but they just like Devin new devices. Kudos to them

X is the first dev I donated to and then a day later he leaves all the sudden just my luck. Good thing their is Miui cause Sense blows goat. No matter how many updates you give it or camera mods or audio it still sucks ass

As much as i love aosp time, keep going back to sense cause of beats and amaze camera. Im gonna go back if mini doesn't get an update soon and ill be bringing I've theme to it. Sorry for the ones of you that wanted me to take over, but my laptop isn't good enough to build roms off of and i need time concentrate on school a little more

The sense roms need ICS then Ill think about jumping ship I really like the ICS launcher you did a really good job on that theme by the way

how would u go about implementing the theme into sense? u gonna theme the clock and dash ui? cause i love the sense 3 widgets. very intrigued in this idea. plus the colors of ics look great. that light blue/green they use 4 batt,time etc. looks mint. i love the launcher but would perfer it followed the real ics lancher when u long press the home button and it bringsup the multitask bar unlike this launcher which makes u have the extra 3 buttons u have no use 4

new launcher should come out for ics and i plan on just theming the systemui and framework for now, just a little from the sense launcher.

It sure is sad to see them devs go, but they all do this for free and outta their precious time so... :-s life goes on.

As users of these wonderful roms, we're always trying out different roms and even replacing our old phones when new ones come out, where exactly is our loyalty? It's much easier to receive than to give. Just be grateful that there are such great community and selfless devs. It's because of them that we have so many choices.

Thanks xboarder for all of your hard work. I happen to have used your roms from the HTC G2, the LG G2x, and now the HTC Sensation. You've been a great man and also proven to be a wonderful chef. I wish you all the best after your graduation and I hope you can bring the same kinda wizardry to the GSII. XDA only gets better when everyone shares.

I might have to switch to a different rom when the time comes, but I know I won't leave without hitting the thanks button a few more times.

I must say this ROM has the staying power for me -- I had some FC before from flashing over top of older ROM, but did full wipe and running latest Bricked AOSP kernel is stellar!!
