just flashed 1.2 with the 3.4.2-177-005_nordic sbf but under biuld number it still says 3.4.2-155_xd1_mod_1.2

is that kool or did i miss something?

I forgot to update the build.prop file, in your "About phone" you just read the content of that file.
This is 3.4.2-177, anyways.

Fixes and updates won't come before the 1st of may. Currently i'm travelling.

I got this prob after v 1.1 ?? and v 1.2 also can;t solve the problem?

i am getting error while flashing this rom and in Cool&Clean v.2.5 by trinacre
verifying build assert failed: file_getprop ("/system/build.prop"), error in /sdcard/foldername
status 7 error installation aborted

in 1st post it seems based from 3.4.2-155, not nordic 177.

EDIT, it seems what in 1st post is new one,
the date modified inside that update zip is april 2011.

Has anyone been able to get full screen recording? I tried the fix and the camera/camcorder kept force closing so I had to wipe/reinstall. I see that the rom has the full screen camera and compression fix - but I have really liked the full screen 720p recording ability of my last rom.

hi, just flashed and customized this rom, very fast and smooth!
I've got a problem setting up my corporate mail, using Corporate Sync account it FC every time it tryes to connect during setup. If I use the other "exchange method" it does not sync my calendar, it's really not present in the calendar lists! anyone can help please?

I think it might be due to some missing motorola apps, something like "corporate calendar" or.. corporate something can you take a look at the standard apks you removed and see if you find something like this? thanks!

ok so I flashed this

it's a near stock 3.4.2_177, and on this rom I can see my corporate calendar with no problem. So I'm pretty sure it's the default apps for calendar/email messing up my exchange configuration.. any change of having the original apps? apk are fine, recovery zip would be fine too.. thanks!

ehi there, i'm back.

I'm working on xd1 (1.2), minor changes, i will provide two flashable zips:

1) zip to fix some small bugs.

2) zip to restore the default calendar.
For those who don't need to sync the calendar (like me), just keep the default xd1 calendar, it's lighter and useful since you can add new events w/o any sync.
For those who need to sync the calendar instead, flash the zip i'll provide.

Those zips will not delete any of your installed apps.

The last version had problem with messaging app.it didnt vibrate when i received a new message, market have a bug, cannot download anything...

Market bugs? I'm grabbing some apps from market for the update (sorry but probably it'll be an update rather than small flashable zips). Just downloaded the new flash player, zeam, and gmaps.. no problems here. Anyway i'll take a look.

About the message app, it's not the motorola's one, and by default the vibrate on notification is set to never. So, open the message app and go to
settings -> notification settings -> Vibrate -> Always.

I and my friend have same bug with messsaging though we was set Vibrate : "away". Market have bug but it's not regular. ( sr my english is rather bad )

Anyway, your custom rom is so fast as hell, so smooth.

I'll make some tests before the update will be out.. i hope to fix your issues but not 100% sure..

About the update, ver 1.2.5, it'll be even faster hope to push it out tomorrow.

Thank you for your effort. It's possible to change some apps in zip before installing? Enought to chane apk, resign zip or need to change some scripts too? Zeam for example because scrolling widget missing now.

Can you build blurginger theme or gingerbread theme? , xd1 rom will beautiful than right now !
