Thanks guys

Great Work Sho :D.... but i still miss uv :crying:
Sorry... For me and jeboo UVing does nothing.

In regards to comments about audio upgrades, using voodoo louder isn't going to improve your sound quality, only make it louder which is bad. If it could raise the signal to noise ratio in the actual hardware that's one thing. One important thing would be to enable 24 bit audio playback, without the DAC down converting it to 16 bit.

If I keep hearing about enabling 24 bit audio I'm gonna commit suicide! :cyclops:

A couple days ago I flashed 1.6.1 fresh. I even went back to stock (with a safe kernel) to format everything. Most everything worked perfectly - even getting a very fast lock for gps. As soon as I received the first phone call I got the force close of the com.sec.android.flashbarservice (not sure if that is exactly correct) then I hit ok and the call comes through ok. As the call comes in though, it's like the whole phone pauses up for a few seconds. (I tried clearing cache in the app but it did it again)

I'm about to do try a fresh flash of this recent update to see what happens but my question is, will it hurt anything if I go into Apps management and disable this if it happens again?

You go into the app manager and and clear cache. Then disable it is the toggle and reboot. Usually clears it up for me. I keep my toggle disabled until I use it so it never effects me. But if you can get some logcats if the error that would be helpful.

Update Posted:

(v1.6.5)
-Modded AutoBrightness to adjust like it should
-MMS Max Message size increase to 1mb. (Now we can send multiple images in one message)
-Smaller text size in expanded notification. (I wasn't able to do a lot but I could do some.
-Revamped RecentApps/Settings button in dropdown
-Updated Boot Animation
-MediaScanner Patch by Google via CM10.1 (seems to help some of the test users along with removing any _ from MP3 titles along with looking for corrupt files or old nandroids)
-Updated Jeboo Kernel to v1.0e
I watched the boot anim and was like "what updated animation?" and then all of a sudden WRECKING BALL! Love it. Point to it? None. But it's those little things that make you smile!

Thanks for all the hard work you two have put into the ROM/kernel, Sho and Jeboo!

Thanks for the quick reply, sho. I've tried to read as much as I can about the flashbarservice app. Is it basically what controls the multi-window stuff and the sidebar?

Forgive my know nothingness as I've run strictly aosp ROMs for past 2 years, how does this work in terms of theming? Any zip packages available? Also is bln available in this kernel?

Just gotta make sure there are no smali or jar changes. No complete apk changes either. Not saying it won't work.... Just likely that something will break.

Edit: no bln

So I was on 1.6.1, installed 1.6.5 successfully (thanks Sho!). Phone booted up after the install. Played with it a little bit and then went to Task Manager, as soon as I pressed Clear Memory the phone re-booted and never started again. I am able to go to CWM, I re-flashed 1.6.1 but it still won't boot, it is stuck on the Samsung Galaxy SII logo. I tried restore (Restore System) and it said Restore completed but it still won't boot.
Any idea?
