Let's not forget mobiletechvideos can fix power buttons for $30.00!

NOT rom related:
My screen has developed a greenish tint. Something like burn in like a plasma tv I guess. The phone is 1 year old. Im sure it came from me running some other roms that had issues with auto brightness so I ran the phone 75-100 full bright. I noticed it first while playing a game. Where the notification bar is is ok but beyond that the screen is greenish tint. All well, 2 more months on this contract till upgrade is available. Had I been using ShoStock1-3 my screen might have been saved.

I noticed that on my phone too up above the status bar when I am using auto brightness. When I put the brightness in the middle you can't hardly tell the greenish tint up there.

Guys I tested the latest releases of Jeboo kernels. I tested both 1.1a to 1.1c. No better battery performance with the latest one. I downgrade to 1.1a again. However, recently charging process, increase my battery temperature instead every time I install the new kernel, use Kernel cleaning scripts.

Any idea what's happen.

Cheers

A quick google search lead me to a read over write (ROW) scheduling algorithm created for mobile devices... Literally one of the first results.

The question I have is what does he mean by "oops" :D

Mine is greenish from the bottom of the status bar, all the way down. The status bar is not burned since it was always black. I always used light wallpapers but recently switched to black HD papers.

When I play Plague or Hill Climbing Racer I can see the tint. Plague, the blue earth water is greenish until the status bar area is blue water. I even see it in CWM.

I thought LCD/OMLED screens did not burn or color fade?

AMOLED displays (what we have in our phones) decay because of they're organic nature. They degrade from usage, light exposure, and from aging. This can result in a kind of image persistence, similar to burn-in. The status bar is black, so that part of the display degrades at a lower rate than the rest. As a result, the status bar area retains a cooler (blue/green) color temperature when compared to the rest of the screen since the blue subpixels decay at a faster rate that the red and green ones.

TIBU moving apps to SD

After I updated to 1.7, I gave Tibu another shot, moving apps to SD. It moved one, everything was fine. Then I batch moved a few of them. They were gone. As in... gone. More than that, the one that I moved before... gone. I have no idea where tibu moved them or what happened, so I was thinking that a bunch of great minds lurking here could help me figure this one out. Can you?
Many thanks to this great community shoman gathered here! I rarely post something because I usually can find the answers searching. No luck this time. And this is a big issue for me, as I use a bunch of apps and the internal space gets over populated very easy.

No such problem here, I tried after reading your post and moved 45 apps to Sdcard and all of them works, moreover the apps were restored when I have flashed 1.7 (freshly). I suggest you to restore them again from TiBu Backup, if it doesn't help then wipe and flash 1.7 and restore the apps from TiBu and then try to move only 5 apps, if it succeeds then you can let us know

Finally upgraded from shostock2 today. (Wasn't even up to date on ss2) I like what I see so far very much, except I miss battery percentage in the icon. But that works out ok because this way I don't notice that I dropped 40% in 5 hours since I finished installing. ;) I'll let it settle out for a while before I worry too much about it. I think perhaps my battery is starting to get old too.

So once again thanks to Sho. Very nice looking ROM. Just as it has been since the beginning. :D

You can get the battery percentage, in Settings>Display> down to More Settings: Display battery percentage. Check the box and enjoy!
