If I added a circle battery toggle what style would you like? Same as what I had before and SS2?

Hi Sho, was just about to upgrade to 1.8 and noticed you have revision coming soon. I see that you are removing NFC support. Can I lobby to keep it in? I see you state it's hit or miss but it works for me, so it's kind of nice to have in it. How about leaving it in with just a Disclaimer that it may or may not work for someone.

Since the talks of battery circle has come up.. i wanted to make a suggestion..
I saw a battery circle widget on play store, while i liked the graphics, it would show the circle in the middle of LCD rather than the notification bar.




Can you try for something similar for the battery icon in the notification bar? Sans the background squares and triangles ie.

When I connect my phone ( v1.8) to the computer I don't have an option for USB connected therefore I can't access either my Internal SDCARD or my external SDCARD , plus I can't install any app via any sideload programs like iAPK .

are these issues related to the version 1.8 because I diidn't have any of these issues when I had the version 1.7 installed .

Do you have USB Debugging turned on? Also, when you connect, you should see the USB icon in the notification window. Drag that down, selected USB connected, the selected Turn on USB storage. FYI, on my dual-boot Windows 8, with Win8 running I don't get the USB icon in the notification window when I connect the phone. So, I have issues with Win8, but all is good with Win7.

You likely don't have the drivers for it installed....or installed correctly.

I did a full wipe and formatted the system the did a fresh install of v1.8 . problem is solved .

I have been using 1.6.5 and turned my phone off to access the SD card and got stuck at the galaxy s 2 screen as what happened in 1.7. I'm going to charge up to 100%, do a full wipe and flash 1.8 but I don't know what caused that to happen.

Is 1.8.5 coming today?

That problem is something which i am facing as well. I have Kies installed.. so that should take care of the drivers issue.
During GB it was coming up fine, only with JB its usually MTP or Camera connection most of the times. Very rarely it goes onto the usb mode.
