Confirmed that AJ's beta Siyah kernel breaks the video player. Not sure about the official release that's posted in the dev forum.Did you guys change kernel? Flash anything other then what's included stock?

Edit: Official breaks it too.
Have you tried opening it directly through the icon? It works for me only if I open a video from a file manager or links.Video player works for me with his kernel.

You'd be absolutely amazed at what a brand new battery can do for you even after just a year.Shoman94,
Thank you for the wonderful ROM. Love the Calendar - is there a standalone apk or app for it?
Is there any way I can increase the battery life, my year old sgh-i777 seems to be draining to 10% by the end of the day.
Thanks Again.
Brenda

Go to post 3 and grab the kernel v1.1f that comes with the ROM and install it. The issue is the kernel not the ROM.Have you tried opening it directly through the icon? It works for me only if I open a video from a file manager or links.
Yeah, I realize that now.Go to post 3 and grab the kernel v1.1f that comes with the ROM and install it. The issue is the kernel not the ROM.

I've never seem that before. Did you come from 1.8? Running the kernel that came with it? Did you flash any mod's or themes?Got this message when I plugged in my phone to my laptop after flashing update. Never had this happen before. Also when I connected it didn't connect as mass storage. Any ideas anyone?

I did come from 1.8 with no wipe and included kernel. No mods or themes flashed. It was connecting as a media device at first. I got into recovery, wiped, reflashed, and now all is good. :good:I've never seem that before. Did you come from 1.8? Running the kernel that came with it? Did you flash any mod's or themes?

Turn off data when you don't need it. Turn off sync and vibrations.Tiernan22,
Are you suggesting that I should try replacing my battery? I was hoping there may be other ways to increase the life.
I have plain black wallpaper, using only half or less than half brightness.
Any other suggestions? Thanks for all the information and the wonderful ROM!!!

Hi there, I was testing Version 1.8.5. The Rom is really great, but I still can't type in landscape mode. The text area is too small and it doesn't automatically adjust like ShoStock 2. Any hints on how to solve it. Here are the screen shots ShoStock 2 Vs ShoStock 3.About the keyboard landscape mode I mentioned before: I don't know if it's really an issue, or maybe there's a setting to control it. Anyway I'm attaching 2 screenshots, one from ShoStock2 and the other from ShoStock3. Notice how in ShoStock2 the text box automatically resizes and adjusts to fit the rest of the screen, giving you enough space to see what you are typing. In contrast, Shostock3 doesn't use this automatic resizing and the text box is always invisible.
Can it be tweaked? Hints please?![]()
