The only minor thing I found was when I initially wiped and flashed. Ink was on, as was the help text. I went in to disable it, but the respective checkboxes were unchecked. I locked the screen and they were active. The only thing I could do was check the boxes, then uncheck them. Weird, but trivial at best.

I have to say it is like I got a new phone. I have used both CM10 and CM10.1 but, due to no fault of the developers, they are not near as smooth and responsive. I prefer the stock Android experience but tw is so fast and smooth on this rom.

I did have to fix permissions to get out of a boot loop.

It isnt needed anymore. Koush took it out of cwm recovery. To calibrate battery stats on our and most devices these days is useless and it does nothing. Anyone that says otherwise is smoking something. :laugh: :highfive:

Even in the cappy days i rarely calibrated mine and still had good battery life. TBH i cant believe it took koush this long to remove it. lol :laugh:

Yeah.. mine happened twice while one charging cycle.. after that I have had no problems and also the charging is back to what it was..

I had a suggestion Sho.. can you create an option for us in the device itself like samsung has which tells that a new android version is available and download from there right away.. and same for the kernel? It would be quite helpful..

Hey all, can you guys help me figure this out? I went to bed and lost over 40% battery in the ~8 hours I was asleep.

This is a fresh and pretty much unmolested installation, had it since 2.0 was released and I haven't installed much or "tweaked" anything. I left Wifi on all night which might be the cause, but why would I have 33 minutes of AlarmManager and 22 minutes of *backup* when I don't even have any alarms or backups set?

This is my 3rd charge cycle, I ran the phone down with about 4.5 hours screen time immediately after installing 2.0 and it seemed to drain at a very normal rate, and partially drained it again while I was out yesterday (mostly by using it). Last night was the first time I've left it alone and off a charger since I loaded 2.0 up and it doesn't seem to want to sleep. AlarmManager and *backup* somehow ate 40% of my battery in 8 hours. =/

Mine did the same thing.
Reboot recovery.
Wipe cache and dalvik.
Fix permissions.
GPS worked great after that.

Great Rom. Extremely smooth.

Im having one problem. I replaced the SecContacts.apk and SecPhone.apk in system/app. But I still dont get the video calling option. Wonder why? Any help?

I think it depends on the SIM card and build.prop also. You may need to change a few things like the provider which you could set from att to unknown and the country/default language. SecContacts in post2 is untouched and SecPhone is only modded with call record and attenuated ringer removed.

You can change it yourself by modifying systemUI.apk. Learn to decompile/edit xml/recompile.

That apk is Samsung Voicetalk/Command... the one that was Vlingo.

AlarmManager I think is the Calendar... maybe a notification that wasn't dismissed?
I've had my wifi take off before but I can't see that since you didn't post the kernel wakelock as well.

I left GPS untouched this time since I didn't have a change to test it out. I have great locks at my house though. Awaiting some feedback.

I didn't want to say anything so things weren't done out of placebo.
