I had a suggestion Sho.. can you create an option for us in the device itself like samsung has which tells that a new android version is available and download from there right away.. and same for the kernel? It would be quite helpful..

Model : Samsung SGH-I777
Rom : ShoStock3
Then you wouldn't keep checking the thread. I wouldn't want that.

GPS for me...

Turned on GPS. Cleared data for GPS Test app under Application manager in phone settings. In settings of app, select to Clear AGPS and select to Update AGPS. Back up one step to main GPS Test app screen as in my pics below. Wait...less than a minute. Should be good.
9 of 9 outside.
8 of 8 inside my house.

Hey all, can you guys help me figure this out? I went to bed and lost over 40% battery in the ~8 hours I was asleep.

This is a fresh and pretty much unmolested installation, had it since 2.0 was released and I haven't installed much or "tweaked" anything. I left Wifi on all night which might be the cause, but why would I have 33 minutes of AlarmManager and 22 minutes of *backup* when I don't even have any alarms or backups set?
Backup is google backup. I know sometimes it goes crazy which is why I never use it anymore. Isnt alarm manager the wakelocks caused by alarms? Not clock alarms but like android ones. Hit the partial wakelocks thing then go to alarms.

AlarmManager I think is the Calendar... maybe a notification that wasn't dismissed?
I've had my wifi take off before but I can't see that since you didn't post the kernel wakelock as well.
Kernel Wakelock is literally empty, there's nothing listed. "No reference since unplugged".

Under Alarms I have:

com.google.android.gsf, 12 wakeups
com.google.android.apps.maps, 6 wakeups
com.android.vending, 3 wakeups
android, 2 wakeups
com.android.providers.calendar, 1 wakeup
com.android.phone, 1 wakeup

It doesn't list the time held awake under Alarms (If I'm in the right place).

"Isnt alarm manager the wakelocks caused by alarms?"

Sync Schedules by Exchange/email settings/etc or any accounts like FB,etc that use Android Alarm Manager (basically a scheduler).

Edit#1:
Exchange and Gmail Calendar sync/weather sync used to cause this wake lock once!

You need to start over and do a full cycle from full charge.

I don't have many programs installed right now, mainly gmail, words with friends (notifications disabled), beautiful widgets (for weather) which is set to update every 3 hours, chrome, gdrive, root explorer, gvoice, gmaps, titanium backup, and my audiobook app which doesn't use any data.

I mentioned a few pages back that it will be in the next kernel update. Haven't decided if we will make it the default gov yet..I posted the upcoming changes in post #3.
I hope you keep it as is. I think the stability offered by Ondemand/CFQ makes it easier to troubleshoot. It would be neat if there was an option to change governor/scheduler, but it's hardly necessary (No Frills works just fine for me).

It will be so that pegasusQ is default and Ondemand can be chosen if you want that.

Re: [RoM][XWLS8-4.1.2-JB][SHOstock3 v2.0] [01/25/13]["Churning Butter"]

Mine did the same thing.
Reboot recovery.
Wipe cache and dalvik.
Fix permissions.
GPS worked great after that.
Same problem for me but first I tried:

Clear Maps data
Clear and update agps in GPS Test, no help.

Wipe cache, dalvik and fix permissions in recovery and its all better.

I'm a little confused since I did a factory reset and full wipe before the install so I'm thinking it was the permissions. If it happens again I'll dig into it a little more before just doing the blanket fix permissions.

I just got in the habit of doing it just to avoid the weird looking graph on battery stats... Not a show stopper by any means though, just me being anal ;)

I just posted v1.2 in post #3! This release has the features I mentioned a few pages back. Most importantly, we now have a system in place to toggle kernel features on/off. This means we can get creative with adding new tweaks/features!!

Enjoy

v1.2
-- Upgraded initramfs to XWLS8 (PhilZ)
-- Updated CWM; added 'Jeboo Kernel Tweaks' menu which is where you can toggle features
-- Added MDNIE tweak as a CWM toggle (gokhanmoral/hardcore) (see ^^^)
-- Enabled pegasusq governor

Hey Sandroidi... Could you please let me know which file is the "edge zoom" inside the ROM.??? I fell strange without it too.

Thanks in advance.
