This is late: I've been away from the thread for awhile, out of range of electronics, so just catching up. This question reminded me of a cartoon in the New Yorker a few weeks ago. A guy and woman at a cocktail party. He is wearing one of those 'Elizabethan" cone collars that they put on a dog after surgery. He is saying, "Yeah, it keeps me from looking at my phone every 30 seconds."

Sorry, my post was for CM10.1 not CM9. I think the two are different enough (4.2.2 vs 4.0.4) so that no direct comparison would be helpful. Please see post 5851 (Eduardo9309) who has stated that he had no problem after full wipe (i.e. data/factory reset, clear cache, clear dalvik and then flash).

I'm sure the scar will go away.

I couldn't handle the pain anymore setup I just popped an oxy. =) I think I ousted them too early. How can I heal properly if I'm in pain and adding stress and tension to the mix.

I hear ya bro. Those oxys are bad to the bone. I took for a while and was sick as a dog when I quit taking them. doc said I was experiencing withdrawal from the meds and wrote me script for lortab to wean me down.

My wife has been running this ROM for a week and has been pretty happy with it. The one issue she has encountered is the gmail app hangs often when being launched. Searching the thread reveals that this has happened to others as well. Any known work around?

They just published a new Gmail app. Try that yet. I find when mine hangs I hit my Gmail shortcut again

Yeah tried the update still happens. Also tried clearing data and reverting back to the previous version with no luck.

I have zero issues with Gmail updated to 4.2+ which I use exclusively. Please try and develop any steps of routine that would allow more to recreate the problem.

I'm using Gmail 4.3.1 without issue. Could always just try out Sammy's Email app.

Interesting. I've been having the problem since the fall. As I recall I even encountered it on Shostock2. Maybe we could narrow down the possible causes by determine what our phones have in common in terms app, usage, etc.
