To make you ask questions. Who hoo.... it worked!Nice thanks for the update! Any reason for the 30mb decrease?
No clue. I have never used AJK.Should i have any problem if i do a full wipe and then flash AJK kernel? I did it the same way i always have and when i get through the AJK boot logo the screen goes black, and the phone gets hot and just sits there. Luckily i made a backup before flashing![]()
That needs to be taken to ajk thread as the music issue is not present in the stock kernal and this has been beat to death so please search before handAnyone else have like a popping or lag when music is playing and the screen is off? Running ajk 1.49 znd Music woks perfect when the svreen is on but if it is turned off it will start lagging and is hard to listen to.
Yeah Sho... thanks a lot qfor the screenshot... a pain I imagine but it makes the phone perfect... again thanks a lot and hope you continue to recoverThanks for adding Screenshot to power menu.... now its perfect
I have the same issue, it crashes when I'm not in it, multiple times. I have to reboot the phone. I reverted back to a prior version of gmail and have no problems. It seems to happen when the app is no longer running in memory and has to start up again. Basically it hangs on an app restart.

i don't think you're using the right kernel...unless you misread it. you can only use AJK kernels with the S on the end of them....so it's 1.48S or 1.51S....he doesn't have a 1.49S for Samsung based romsAnyone else have like a popping or lag when music is playing and the screen is off? I just installed 2.6 after a full wipe with no TiBU restores. The problem is still there for me. What about you? You're not the only one with the Gmail problems. It has to do with the Samsung ROMs (Shostock & AllianceROM) and Gmail versions above 4.1.2. I don't have any problems with Gmail when using CM or AOKP, but those ROMs have to many other problems for me so I keep coming back to a Samsung ROMs. I have done multiple complete wipes, clear data (app) and clear cache (app) with no improvements. I have also tried different launchers. It acts like Gmail is being launched 2 times. Many times when Gmail is locked up I can hold down the back button, it says the app is killed, but gmail is still open and acts normal again. Many times I click on the icon and it say's "app not installed" I click it again and it opens. When the next version of Shostock comes out (today?) I'm going to wipe the phone again, this time I'm going to install ALL apps from scratch not installing anything from TiBu to see if that helps.
I think it would be the one that starts with "Contacts Storage" but I'm not positive. Personally I think it's easier to merge your contacts with Google so they're always there on any phone once you sign in.Which contacts file in tb would I restore if I want to restore my contacts personal ringtones & notifications and if it's a system file will it screw up my phone?

If you don't know which file to restore how would you have backed them up in the first place?Google doesn't restore ringtones & notifications, that's why I want to restore them.

That log doesn't show more anything. It's only one line?Been using this ROM and has proven to be the most stable ROM I have used to date, great work. The only thing that I can't get around is a problem I am having using the exchange client with the stock email client included with the ROM. When I get to the point of installing the "Client Certificate" in the exchange server settings I get the "Unfortunately, Email has stopped." message after which the email client closes. I have used Google to search for a solution through XDA or other sites without success. I have linked a logcat file that hopefully contains the info that is needed to diagnose the problem. Either I am the only one having this problem or my searching skills need some work, if its the later please accept my apologies and point me in the right direction. Thanks

Side note, beautiful work on this ROM, especially considering SHO's recent surgery. Thanks for all the work that went into this ROM and hope recovery goes well.

Thanks for the quick reply, perhaps it has to do with the changed email program, maybe I should try to install the the stock email apk to see if that is the source of the problem. I will look for the stock email apk, give it a try and let you know how it goes. Thanks for the info. That log doesn't show more anything. It's only one line?
I have it setup on my wife's work email and don't have any fc's. Off the top of my head I can't recall every step setting it up so I'm not sure if I even had to install the client certificate. The only change I make to the email program is to allow you to not be forced into using a pin number for the lock screen.
