Have you tried sense 5 yet? I think you would be impressed.. becides blinkfeed it's pretty awesome. Plus I just got sick of Samsung build quality.

Why buy a phone from a company that is tanking? HTC won't be around in the next year or so.

BTW metal inhibits signal so have fun with a non shock absorbing material.

I'll stick with one of the largest electronics manufacturer in the world, Samsung. :p. That and it doesn't hurt to have Sho deving either. :D

I will just stick with developer I like and if I need to move to different device I will. ...from my personal experience #1 developer that is so close what you expect and wanted then device that is compatible with his wizardry cooking. .....so just for memo.....Samsung is another big steak on market that will be for long time and for final expression and finish quality im more for internal hardware that over kill just anything compared so far. ....

Alright im almost out of here! Lol one final word,
Why buy from a company that's tanking? Because if they are any good, there best product will be there last. There's no point in supporting the one of the largest electronics manufacturing companies just because there devices are plastic. As I am experiencing now. Shock obsorbing isn't an issue, as I use TPU cases on all my devices and it has prooved to me time and again it is fine with taking all the shock itself. I have amazing internet speeds, Bluetooth is perfect, (Beter than the s2 or s3 which I own) and NFC is great. The speeds are rediculously fast on WiFi and mobile. Watch a video comparison from iPhone 5 and HTC one. As for Sho, why do you think I'm here? ;) I respect the man as much as you and will miss his brilliant wizardry..

It's the error 43 from Windows 7 OS. I'm running latest SHOstock with jeboo kernel included. No changes to system at all. Tried reflash with full wipe and no go. Any other info?

What exactly are you trying to do...

Did you check in settings▶devloper▶usb debugging checked
Error 43 represent for your given Windows OP system that drivers that are used to recognize your external hub storage lets not get to high on Windows structure. ....
First re download driver's reinstall. ....test. ....check your cable for damage try using other usb ports...
In my previous problem I run on this was my PC was on for so long that can trigger this type of errors. ....

Try a different pc. Does anything happen when connecting? See anything change in device manager? Maybe the usb port is failing? You are using the drop-down to turn on usb storage after connecting right?

Just because you moved to a different phone doesn't mean you are not welcome here...Lol
Both phones are very similar. Gorilla glass 2vs3, 1.7ghz vs 1.9ghz, 4.7 inch vs 5 inch, no external sd vs external sd, 4.1 vs 4.2 on release, better battery life(according to the ratings I saw) and lower SAR ratings on the s4. The material used for the case is really a moot point when using tpu cases or similar. I like having a thinner phone using zagg to protect it.
Anyway I hope you have great luck with it.

I've dropped my plastic S2 I lost track how many times and there's no scratches to the screen. I vary between keeping it in a case and without and ironically I've dropped it more times when not in it's case.

It may be plastic but it's taken more than it's fair share of a beating and still runs fine with no cracks on the screen.

It won't fix your problem, but you can give Airdroid from the market to transfer the files over WiFi. Then when you are not so stressed another solution may present itself.

No change with different PC. Using the drop down menu to try and connect. Tried different cable too.

Dumb question... What kernel are you running?

I'm just curious since my w7 desktop some how hates my phone when its on 4.1.x no matter what kernel or ROM. It just simply only sees the device as USB 1

What I've had the best luck doing is booting into CWM, then mounting my external SD, then mounting USB. I have the best luck transferring pictures and music this way.

Very strange to get an error. Open control panel, then click install/uninstall apps, and uninstall all apps that relate to Samsung, go online, find I777 drivers, install them and then on the phone try maybe turning on usb debugging?

I suppose you can try and edit the build.prop and remove the last line or comment it out. Then save and reboot and it should enable mtp again. Maybe that will work for you. Is it possible that maybe your usb port is becoming faulty? I don't know, just shooting out ideas. I went from Vista to w7 and then w8 and haven't had an issue.
