Thinking about a Moto G for ~ $200. I use a Straight Talk Sim
I have the ST sim from my Galaxy Discover in my i777. Got the S2 mint condition from Swappa. Thinking of going up to the S3, but I'm very partial to the triple 7.

Swappa is selling one for $110 in 'Good' condition. So I am inclined to buy the Moto G for $200. For $20 extra I can get LTE version. Is it your belief that the ST SIM card will take full advantage of LTE?I have the ST sim from my Galaxy Discover in my i777. Got the S2 mint condition from Swappa. I believe it has to be one of the actual "AT&T Compatible" ones to use LTE, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I haven't tried using the one I have now in an LTE device so I can't verify that.Swappa is selling one for $110 in 'Good' condition. So I am inclined to buy the Moto G for $200. I had that issue. I bought a battery charger and an extra battery so I never have to plug it in anymore. That phone is till in use using Net10 byop service.Been running my SGII for 2.5 years with Sho's help. Today I started getting warnings that may Battery Voltage was Greater than 3.7V. Switched batteries - didn't matter. About 30 minutes ago it died. Can't turn it on - even if plugged in!!!
Please tell me it is not that timeLove this phone. Cleaned the battery contacts but no good.
Trial and error. I always used the UCMD8 modem on my S2 no matter what ROM I'm running. I assume you have your APN setting set correctly?I tried the one for this base & it didn't work. Would it hurt to try ones for other basebands?
You could accomplish this by booting to recovery and simply performing a factory reset. If it were me, because I tend to do extra steps for "just-in-case" reasons, I would manually delete all accounts, then do a factory reset in recovery, but the first method should be enough for what you're trying to achieve.Any way to re-set shostock3 to its original state? I'm going to sell my phone and want to get rid of all the accounts, etc. in one shot.
Thanks, Steve. I don't exactly remember how to boot into recovery, although I am sure I can figure it out. I was looking at "factory reset" in the settings menu but I was concerned that would end up resetting the original factory settings. Can I use that reset or is booting into recovery a better option? You could accomplish this by booting to recovery and simply performing a factory reset. To get into recovery hold both volume keys+power until the Samsung logo flashes, then let go. I believe it's best to do the reset inside recovery because what it does is remove all user data but will leave SHOstock installed, returning it to the way it was when you initially installed it, complete with setup screens. Thanks, Steve. Great, thanks. I'll use your "paranoid" method as well, should take all of two seconds and will give me some peace of mind.To get into recovery hold both volume keys+power until the Samsung logo flashes, then let go. The factory reset in the settings menu is less reliable.
