If you really need some of the applications excluded in lite version just install the full one and then uninstall the unnecessary ones with darkyrom tool or sgs tool.

Can simple flashing cause this bad brick without showing any signs or errors?

not I'm sitting with my phone being charged from wall at the first boot screen for 13 minutes so far..

Now, I suggest you try it.
Install it by Recovery. After reboot, uninstall Superuser then install the superuser from market.
Enjoy!
Now version 1.3 is soon available, but do not yet know!
Download AbyssNote v1.2 thank Angelom.

Personally I do O.C. and other things that can stress the CPU, so I prefer to Chainfire kernel.
Now the rom is perfect. I think there will be more development Until the next firmware!

I wanted to wipe everything and do a fresh install so i deleted everything and flashed the ROM however when I try to setup my yahoo mail i get error incorrect user-name password, my 2nd issue is that i like the graphics of version 1 ROM but at the same time i do not want to miss out on any tweaks that you have implemented

IS there any way around to this ?

But the graphics are pretty much the same. Personally I do not have an Yahoo account. However, this is nowipe, you can set up your account, with the v.1 and then install this version.

I was previously using a stock rom KK1 and rooted with Chainfire's KK1 kernel. Would there be a problem for me to use a KK9 rom? I'm still new to Samsung's firmwares so I'm confused as to whether he KK# or whichever letters they came in mattered to the end-user.

Ok I have tasted version 1 & 2 both I was able to flash without any error
