Where is the bug list for this ROM?

1. I can not do a backup using CWM.
2. I have flashed the kernel twice using the update facility using LRToolbox but it still shows up again there!
3. Having problems with root premissions, unable to change anything in System.

Did you first flash stock ICS rom?

This might sound like a silly question, but is that the process even if coming from another Custom ICS Rom (eg: KingDroid -> Liteningrom)

With my SGS2 I could just wipe and flash whatever I wanted after the initial rooting and custom ROM had been loaded.. is the SGN different in that way?

I also flashed this ROM... But sometimes I had the issue that after my screen goes black it won't come back, nevertheless pressing the home key... Could it be a bug?

When i restart my note and open root explorer i can have read and write in system/app

but after few minutes and reopen root explorer i CANT have read and write in system / app


WHY????? i installed the litenin like userguide , i flasg lp8 first and after the litenin

I having same issue, that SU will ask and grant access if open up application that need root. But not able to rename or write file in /system. Is this consider partial root?

Another thing need advise from developer. LRtoolbox is something like CWM? Can we flash Mod/Update with it like CWM? If we need CWM as other custom ROM, mean I have to flash other kernal like Franco/Speed/CF?

Anyway, this is amazing rom that fast,stable and supreme battery life. Although i love Franco kernel which can provide usual CWM and performance.

Hope to have update and enhance version soon. Great work!

Same problem here.
I tried Alba LQ3, same. But battery life is more like Litening. Maybe to early to say after one day. If it's the same I'll switch to Alba.

I like this ROM a lot. Too bad the dev isn't really involved in this thread. Ok, a lot of repeated questions but also some "real" questions.

Any recommendations? I've heard good things about KingDroid. Is it a simple job or do you need to start restoring stock ROMs etc first?

Pity because I quite like this one.. Oh, has anyone noticed that unknown contacts will show in a completely different language when they call??

first of all ur rom is smoothest and fast. the other seem faster on the bench mark but ur rom does not lag.

second u have lrtool box app. where is can download. there is a speed mod program. Can i download and run the program on ur ICS. thks

Uninstall of the ROM | CWM | restore contacts

I tried this ROM so far so good. Good battery life, smooth.

Unfortunately, I have one (big) problem. I came from GB Rocket ROM and I have problem with contacts. I was disconnected from the Google Gmail contact synchronization because of resizing of the contact picture. Right now, I have duplicate contacts even the fact that I tried to turn of Gmail contact synchronization and I cannot wipe out duplicates. In addition, the contacts have resized pictures to 72pix by Gmail sync.
I tried to restore contacts by Titanium Backup Tool – no success. No contacts are restored. Unfortunately, I don’t have any external backup of contacts with large pictures.

I have two options right know.
Go back to the GB ROM to create an external backup of contacts with large pictures. I see classic Recovery mode with this ROM so I cannot flash Abyss directly. I tried to install CWM on this ROM and I saw the CWM recovery so tried to flash Abyss 4.2 and the classic recovery mode is back. So far, dead end.
Second options is restore GB backup of contact by Titanium Backup Tool to ICS contacts (somehow) and try to connect to Gmail contacts sync. I should not resize contact pictures any more.

Can anybody help me? No matter which option. I just need my contacts with large pictures. I put lot of effort to contacts pictures.

[/COLOR]I flashed this rom 5 times already on 5 phones went to some minor problems but everything its correctable runing perfectly smooth now just make sure you read the litepro guide and follow each step as is stated there heres my corrections.


1. After flashing abyss kernel boot in recovery dont boot your phone normaly abyss its a GB kernel it will not run your ics rom also abyss cwm its touch screen not volume key usable touch the screen gentlemen and wipe system/factory reset wipe cache and devilk cache turn off phone and flash with odin.
Note: Read all the intructions im just posting the problems i encountered that are not stated there

2.After you succesfully flash your phone may reboot in android recovery or not it happened both ways to me but please be patient it may tke in some cases more than 5 minutes to boot so dont panic it will boot.


3.Sper user problems may occur make sure you do not update your su app yet updating it may cause a problem and stop the su app and that way you cant run titanium back up to restore your data. if that happens remove the update or redownload the app.

4.google play problem may occur that will not allow you to download any app dont panic go to settings>aplications>google framework and clear data. Dont uninstall the app or delete just the data. this should fix your market and let you download TB to restore your apps.

5.In LRT tools or the power menu if you restart in recovery mode you will be in android recovery and you will try to reboot system and the screen will freeze and if you turn off and boot again youll be in recovery again dont panic reboot system and sit aside to read forums or something until it boots it will boot it just takes several minutes hope litepro fix that .

well all this happened to me in my 5 phones that i flashhed i think 2 of those phones dint had all issues but some had all 5 problems and ive readen for hours to fix all this bugs so hope this save some time to you and dont forget tha thank button if i helped you.


Another thing in titanium back up it sometimes can ask you to restore your id for better app functioning you can do it only in TB donate version its recomended to do it since if not youll may find conflicts when using dif apps.

It's a great rom, but I decide to flash other rom with better support. Tried cf cwm then flash abyss, but it doesn't go through. Reboot back to litening after awhile. Anyone can advise? Do I need to flash original rom then cf cwm follow by abyss.... etc......?

Yep, flash a stock GB ROM. Root it, flash a can kernel and install another ROM.

remember that litening rom its lpy ics based so make sure you flash abyss before wiping to flash another rom otherwise you will brick your precious note via brick bug.

This ROM isn't dead, why are you saying that? Litepro gives only support through his own forum. The latest version 2.0 has just been released (more than a week ago).
