- This Will Not Update you to the 4.3 Bootloader

- Everything will be fixable with Triangle Away as your still running the old Bootloader

- This is the only reversable way until the new Bootloader is cracked to be able to reset the Knox Count

- This is a Complete Rom Flash it with Odin
- The Binary Flash Counter Will increase when flashing these ROM Packages.
- This is is meant for people running on the 4.1.2 Bootloader


The aim of this mod is to update all packages and lighten the bloat in the rom without breaking anything


Core Orange Service, Deezer, Flipboard, Free Games, Google Play Books, Google Play Movies, Lookout Security cant be removed as they are applied on first boot after a firmware update by the csc install process

I advise you use something like filemanager and delete the following files in /system/app
Books.apk, COS_Romdetection.apk, Deezer_4.1.4.13.apk, Flipboard.apk, freegamesv1.1.apk, Lookout_AN8.19.3_6d100ea_EE.apk, Videos.apk
or Titanium Backup (dont forget to clean up dalvik cache after)

Let the device fully boot so as to apply the CSC
create an empty file called autoroot on the internal storage and reboot to gain root access

or better still try the new modem if you have problems
flash your old one..

Boeffla Beta 13 Kernel adds some nice performance gains

First = Average 1.6ghz Cpu, Default GPU
Second = Highest 1.6ghz CPU, Default GPU (10 Runs)

Also the removed apps, do you just install the apk's as regular apps? I might need to install the Exchange Email client again.

Not be rude but I am assuming you can't use samsung 4.3 kernel, it has to be custom? Also are these beta kernels stable?

Also do I need to set any permissions on the files I copy to /system/app?

The kernel is great better and faster than Samsungs

You cant use the stock kernel without the knox bootloader (no wifi)

They have tied kernel module loading into the knox bootloader

im almost glad they did this as i have always stuck with the stock kernel
it pushed me to try other kernel's boeffla is so great

get the boeffla v2 config app from the play store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.andip71.boeffla_config_v2&hl=en

set the permissions to the same as the rest of the files in /system/app

For me camera work flawlessly, maybe because before i've got 4.1.2 with stock kernel. I've got root working after flashing phil-z recovery.

to get root all you have to do is put a file called autoroot in the internal sd root directory
then reboot
if it doesnt work reboot again
