Thanks... but already checked there... Though it seems that I have fuse because eds recognises it and can mount (older versions).
Who know.... I think Android should add natively some encryption methods. They started in Lollipop make it more famous but I want the open sourced ones like full support for encfs and Truecrypt/Veracrypt

v18 signal problem

hi i was using my note 2 n7100 on kitkat, and i fully backed up my phone's stock kitkat 4.4.2 in twrp recovery,
then i went on changing roms, and what i do everytime is that i just install a new rom, and then restore only Modem from my stock rom backup, and it works like a charm.

in my country DDUFND1 modem is working best for me, and that is what came with stock rom,

then i decided to come back to jelly bean for more privacy. and i installed ADroid rom which is android 4.1.1 rom, it already had DDUFND1 modem so i didn't need to restore my stock modem into it, and everything worked fine with that rom too.

now i came on Omega v18 Jelly bean 4.1.2 rom, which has modem XXDMG1, i tried to boot the rom with that modem and it boots up fine, but DDDMG1 is not compatible with my network i think, because i don't get network at all, it ask me for my sim pin and then when i enter the pin it shows signals bars but my network not working, no mobile data, no sms, no call, and if i go in more settings and network settings and find network manually, and select my network from list, it says in the notification bar that your selected network is not available.
so i went in twrp and backed up EFS + Modem of Omega, then restore Modem DDUFND1 from my stock rom backup and rebooted.
now Omega rom doesn't even show signal, and it says no sim card. it doesn't even ask for my sim pin.

is there any special way to change modem in omega? please help me soon, i'm waiting with no network

Hi mate,
i think you have lost your IMEI. Have a look into settings/about phone/status and is the number 0049... or 000.... so you have a corrupted IMEI. The only way is restore your backup or flash a original Firmware from your country/carrier.

Hi mate,
i think you should flash a Stock Rom for a clean Phone after try so many Roms. It´s important to get your IMEI back and also important is that you can´t downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.1.x you get always problems. Sometime you have no wifi or data or both and also you can loose your IMEI. Do this steps and you get v31 to work
1. flash the latest original Rom from your carrier/provider (important for your modem) with Odin 3.09 (do a full wipe before in recovery) - You find all on sammobile or on samsung updates web sites. Please do not root the fimware a time.
2. after reboot you do all first settings (it´s not important to set the accounts and dropbox, you can skip this). If you see the data working you get the IMEI back.
3. important, go to settings/about phone and set the developer mode (push 7 times to build number), the go to the dev options and set USB debugging
4. also important, go to settings/security and untick reactivation lock
5. now flash the TWRP recovery 2.8.5.0 with Odin and reboot. Phone off and with 3 finger combo to the recovery
6. I think you have Omega Rom on your extSD card, so do a factory reset and flash the Rom from your folder
7. In Aroma installer set full wipe and do all other settings of your choice.
Now it should work:fingers-crossed:, you have a clean phone with a working Omega Rom and your working modem
If you have a backup from your Apps you can restore it now
I do this too often to clean my Note 2 and i hope this will help you a bit

i just restored backup and everything is fine, and now i can flash any kitkat rom again, but not able to get pass the boot screen on Omega rom (KK). i am not doing a full wipe in rom installer, but i wipe everything like cache, data, system, dalvik, and remove data folders from sdcard like .android data and other hidden and other app folders too, but i keep my music etc. is that not enough? do i still have to select full wipe inside rom installer?

Hi mate, if you select full wipe in Aroma installer it will wipe system,data,cache and dalvic. Your internal and external sd are save. But for a clean install the wipe internal sd is better so you have an external memory card. If not so you don´t use it. If you have an external sd and you flash the Rom from there and it do not work you can try to flash it from the internal sd.
Also i whould try to download the Rom again, maybe you have a bad download. Put the new download in the internal sd/download folder and try it again with full wipe in Aroma

I have the same problem. I have noticed that sound stuttering coincides with glitches system (small freeze during awaking). So, i guess that freezes the entire system from time to time with the sound together.
Just press the button, the system immediately stops freeze.
