I'm having an issue with the SIP/VOIP functionality built in to the dialer. I have it set up to enable outgoing calls (not receive them), but whenever I select "Internet Call" as the method for dialling, the phone dialer force closes, stating "com.android.dialer" or similar has closed.

It's a real pain. However, I may have noticed that the actual phone signal drops at that time also. Not too sure, but it's definitely a phone error, rather than network.

I'm coming from 4.1.2 miscom's rom. Did 4.3 Odin once to sky note 4.3 and restored back to 4.1.2. I gave a try to flash this Rom cause I could not go without 240 dpi. Everything including Wi-Fi seems to work except that my AT&T SIM card could not be detected. Any ideal what I might have done wrong?

check the IMEI number and if it is worng try to restore EFS if you have saved it

howto do phone encryption with this ROM?

Hello, I have tried unsuccessfully to encrypt my phone and my SD-Card. After searching in the forums, it looks as if the encryption feature only works with stock recovery.
So, I think I have to install Stock ROM, then encrypt phone and SD-Card, and after that root the Stock ROM, install custom recovery and flash FakeJap ROM again.

Can anybody confirm this before I mess my telephone bad?

DLNA is not working for this ROM

Try to get to settings and turn on the tab under Connect and Share > Nearby Device

The tab wont activate

Anyone can confirm this?

I really love this rom, clean fast and 240dpi preinstalled :laugh:
without having to manual tweak the hell out and still getting FC's, like on other full bloated roms where you never use the 75% of the installed apps.

So i really hope that continue on this great rom, thats in my opinion better then all the other "clean" roms out there, and i tried them all

Now thanks to the 240dpi modpack http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2508625 there are a wider selection of roms out there. I wanted to keep SPen functionality so I looked for tw roms. I flashed experia-z-ized and then the modpack and everything is working perfectly and looks fantastic.

but I'd love to see a new fakejap!

late to the party I started reading the previous 10 pages before this so I can see what issues I may found... and at the end people are saying that there is no development anymore ....lol

i am sorry.. i gave away my GN2 and switched to Nexus 5..
cant continue development anymore..

Please use other 240Dpi roms available in this forum..

I'm sorry to hear that, fakejap (but do understand, of course). Still using your ROM and still very happy with it. There are not that many 240dpi ROMs out there and I still like yours the best.
