GCam on MOST revisions has issues with taking photos in direct daylight and processing HDR. To find a version of GCam that operates in direct daylight you'll have to ask on the OP6 GCam forums (I typed this into DuckDuckGo if you were curious and it was the 4th link).

My large amount of experience with GCam has been... it was a great idea, but can be extremely buggy. I have since uninstalled it as the OOS camera is now quite good and not too far off the quality of GCam, not to mention how stable it is.

If you still wish to use the GCam that comes with NoLimits avoid using it in direct daylight, it should work with everything else just fine.

Alright, well I just tried https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/google-camera-mods/oneplus-6-google-camera-port-t3797544 instead, works much better so far. I think GCam is better, OOS is a bit laggy/slow focus and in the newest version you can't seem to use 16:9. At least I could not find the option, its either 4:3 or full screen so all pictures look zoomed in.

Hi Guys! Something weird things happened. I use with rise together XXX . Earlier, for example yesterday the always on aod worked. Today it can't find in ambient settings. I tried to reflash rise and after XXX but after I flashed XXX aod always settings is missed out. If I disable XXX I can find this settings. Any idea?

Sounds like a conflict between the two mods. You may want to dirty flash your ROM.

I meant to say uninstall both mods and then dirty flash ROM to get things in order.

Thanks. As I wrote I did. After that I flashed xXx and after rise. Nothing changed. But after that I uninstalled xXx and reboot. Disabled rise, flashed xXx and reboot. After that enabled rise and now both working together and I can see rise build in the settings/phone menu.

It's weird but now working.?

what exactly do I need the BusyBox for which is enabled by default? In xXx I just use the tweaks, Adaway, YouTube and some debloating stuff.

So, is BusyBox really needed or can I disable it in the profile file?

hi all! i have some troubles....
i have an OP5 with nolimits 4.3.... and then i will upgrade it. this last days i still flashing the nolimits 4.5a, first of all, in the first flash i break the twrp, but i can reflash with fastboot.
okey my first steps was:
- flash twrp bluespark 9.91 ( i can't flash bluespark r153)
- wipe both cache/dalvik, system, vendor, data
- format data (sometimes error mounting partition, but i dont know which partition)
- reboot twrp
- flash first time to upgrade firmware and modem to 9.0.3.
- wipe cache/dalvik
- flash last oxygenos rom 9.0.3
- flash magisk v18
- wipe cache/dalvik
- format data
- flash Disable DM-Verity and ForceEncrypt 2.0
- reboot system
complete de google assistent, and reboot to twrp to flash nolimits 4.5a
here i have some troubles.... in some tries to flash nolimits 4.5a, i have the error 7 (dont know wtf is that code), in other cases after flashing the standard profile inside the flashable zip and using my profile too, the apps will crash and dont open... sometimes with my profile and other with only flashing the nolimits 4.5a zip.
i copy in the sdcard/ both files zip and profile when i flash it
this is my profile File if anyone can check it...

i had similar problems to you too, and my issues were related to:
- substratrum themes (e.g. Swift theme)
- Magisk modules
- only 1 or 2 apps that had problems with Google's Android "WebView" component

so, just remove any themes first and also, if you have Magisk, then uninstall Magisk and try again
you need to reboot your phone each time you do it, so that you do it properly

the instalation is clean, without substratum, no magisk module installed (now i dont know which modules are needed)
and if i cant install the kernel tweaks.. is a ****..

now in the last flash i have the rip and profile inside sdcard folder... and the flashing say,
file_getprop: failed to start "/tmp/xXx.prop.location": No such file or directory
updater process ended with ERROR: 7
Error installing zip file '/sdcard/xXx_NoLimits_4.5a_OP6_magisk_rom-zip'

after that error i need to wipe cache dalvik? this ****ing error are killing me... what is the problem and how to solve it?

last flash with this steps.. all seems ok but...
- viper4arise driver, not installed... why?
- gcam not installed
- chrome, drive, gmail, maps cant be installed... gplay says "other user have been installed one versio not compatible with this dispositive"....

anyone can explain me, what is the use of fixsdcardpermissions??
Can add to remove all bloatware from oxygen os too?

can check extream debloating and the individual at the same time? same question to kernel tweaks?

and if i want to change the profile settings and reflash... can i flash directly or i need to flash first the nolimits uninstaller 2.0, to reflash the profile?

Gcam has always been very buggy for me so I stopped installing it a few builds back. OOS cam is pretty good for me minus the oil effect.

I'm going to take an educated guess here and say you took a photo in direct light. GCam doesn't play well in direct light with this version.
Force close the app and use stock camera in direct light.
For all other shots, GCam will work.

Yes I guess picture was taken outside looking at clear sky.
