In fact I never succeeded flashing any sense-based ROMs. All others mostly succeeded however(Candy, Pacrom, CM)

Been trying with TWRP 2.8.7, 3.0.0 and 3.0.2 but still no luck.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I'm on superCID 11111111. My device is a 8160 (t6uhl).
Most International AOSP-based ROMs have been flashed well on it, but never a Sense-based.
The only Sense ROM I can flash is my own stock firmware.

Y8 is great but some have experienced issues booting, and it doesn't apparently work at all on the Verizon variant.

If you want a Sense ROM for the One Max that works on all variants, try NuSense Six.

Thanks for your suggestion, actually I've tried them all including Viper ROM weeks ago but to no avail. My stock firmware stuck in Jellybean with persistent GPS problem and no chance of OTA update anymore.

Other non Sense ROMs worked fine, but none of them provides fingerprint. That's why I need a Sense-based ROM.

Most of 8160 ROM devs hosted in Chinese web sites which language I don't understand .

Fingerprint scanner only works when the bootloader is relocked. Fortunately, it's easy to lock and unlock the bootloader once you are S-OFF. There is a thread with a how to in the forums.

With my current stock firmware the fingerprint scanner still works even with unlocked bootloader. Maybe it's time to move from Sense. Thanks

I have a sprint One Max, currently rooted using a stock ruu 3.02.651.5 with twrk 2.7.0.0 as my recovery.
There's no service connected to it and I currently use it via a hotspot in my taxi (verizon 551L with an asus ac68u) to run credit cards and use for gps (tomtom or waze). It's always asking to upgrade to 651.8, gps has trouble locking on to gps sats. Even after using gps status to reset gps data / download the helper files.. I think I should toss a new rom on it to hopefully correct these problems. Is this one I should run?

No. Only currently supported ROM for Verizon One Max is CM13. I am running NuSense 6 which is no longer supported, but which runs fine on my Verizon device.

i have managed to get this rom working by installing nusense first then dirty flashing and aplying the steps provided by the guide on post number #1 i am on 3.0 recovery fyi

Hmm I am and have been using this rom for awhile and it works great, unless the camera updates the it records weird, I just uninstall the update and works great. Are you taking the sim card out? And I'm thinking I had to do one other thing. . . I'm S-off. . . sim was out. . . got xsposed and sense toolbox both to work fine.

I think the problem is a the System/etc/tfa. For the weather go to weather app go to setting and enable auto detect my location. Need to reboot.

Been on this rom for about a week. But having the weather problem with the location. It picks up my location for about 5 minutes after reboot and then goes back to location unavailable. Tried clearing data in weather apps and location app. Even when i restored it from nandroid it picked it up then gone again. Any fix.

Hi. Question about this ROOM

Hi.. I have a HTC One Max Sprint. I get the S-OFF with Sunshine, plus I unlocked the SIM. (Since then I can use every SIM Card that I want.. Actually I use an AT&T SIM) Can I use this ROOM without lost my S-OFF and my Unlocked SIM?
