No camera bug for me though . I think ASUS will release new beta firmware soon. Once it's released, I'll upload it and share to you guys.

Try video camera opened for 5-10mins...

Installing 15.0410.1712.31 on ZE520KL
The ROM is for ZE552KL, but with a few steps you can install it on ZE520KL!
YOU'LL NEED AN UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER!

INSTALLING OREO

- Flash a stock Nougat recovery from ZE552KL (you can find it here)
- Go to the recovery and Wipe Data/Factory Reset and Wipe Cache (you'll lose everything)
- Install WW-14.2020.1712.85 for ZE552KL
- Let the Zenfone 3 boot for the first time. After that, reboot to recovery again and install 15.0410.1712.31 (Oreo)
- Done!

Nougat installation will take 2-3 minutes
Oreo installation will take 10 or more minutes

GETTING BACK TO NOUGAT

- Flash a stock Nougat recovery from ZE520KL (you can find it here)
- Go to the recovery and Wipe Data/Factory Reset and Wipe Cache (you'll lose everything)
- Install WW-14.2020.1712.85 for ZE520KL
- Done!

Edit: WhatsApp media bug fixed! I'm testing for about 2 hours and nothing so far. I can send/receive pictures without any problems

I got back to nougat because of the WhatsApp bug. Can anyone else confirm if the bug was solved? The battery experience on Oreo is much better than nougat.

You'll need fastboot at least for unlocking the bootloader and flashing the recovery, but after that you're pretty much done, you'll only need a SD card with the zip (the Nougat ROM)

But I don't think you can without Flashtool/Fastboot, I could be wrong but I really think you need one of them... sorry about the answer, I hope someone knows a lot better about this :/

Yeah! It's fixed, I'm testing for about 2 hours and nothing so far. I can send pictures taked from the camera, from the app itself, I can receive too... Oreo is far better, I'm glad that was finally fixed!
