ok awesome - doing a nand now and will let you know if i notice any difference - i couldnt find an md5 for the pure performance though - im sure its fine but i always like to check when possible - gonna run quadrant before and after too just to see what happens -

---------- Post added at 06:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:29 PM ----------

OK - so far I have noticed smoother and faster transitions - boot time seemed faster (could be placebo) apps seem to open faster (also possibly placebo) scored 300 points more on quadrant at 100/1100 but phone rebooted running it at 100/1500 where as it didn't before flashing PP - I'm undervolted 25 MV per step so that mite be why I crashed - I will say before PP I scored 3633 at 100/1100 and 4882 at 100/1500 - (can post screenies if anyone is interested - what surprised me the most was the io speeds between 1100 and 1500 - 6672 compared to 10279 !

For those dedicated users of this build, as always, I appreciate the kind words and support. I wanted to share a little gem that I stumbled upon and am actually using on the Boost variant of this ROM at the moment. I noticed an immediate performance boost, increased battery life, and all around better experience after flashing this. If you flash this on this ROM, make sure you flash the stock version and not the CM one. And make sure you swing over to Jeeko's thread and thank him. Just thought I'd share something that is working nicely for me:). Enjoy, and again, thanks to everyone, and glad you're enjoying the build:thumbup:

I thought so too but apparently that script isn't actually doing anything - lol - I guess the init.d isn't running at boot or something to that effect - gonna uninstall -

The permissions aren't set correctly, it leaves anything that is in init.d there, which has the potential for causing conflicts, among other questionable things.

I used the uninstall zip - is there other things I should manually delete as well ? Honestly I've noticed a bit more stuttering since the install and uninstall - wondering if there are lingering issues I should try and remove ?

I mean you can run it... You'll just have to go in recovery and fix permissions. To me it looks like a bunch of jumbled up tweaks from various people put together by somebody who isn't highly experienced, there are some good ideas and concepts. I'm guessing there is nothing left in your init.d after the uninstall, I would flash ComaDose or Exit_Only's tweaks personally but hey that's just my opinion. I was testing out some of the tweaks in there and they do seem to work. Idk seems like he's onto a good idea just poorly executed, but hey it's the first release. If it's updated I will definitely try it out again. It's really how things work around here, it just takes somebody putting the idea out there and somebody else puts a different twist on it... Feedback... Updates... Then all of the sudden you have an amazing finished product from something that started out somewhat broken.

It boots but I can't do ANYTHING, then it reboots. And my USB port is broken, so I can't flash through ODIN or something. Any chance I can fix this or will it be stuck like this?

Soft Brick (I assume)

I flashed this rom and everything went smooth. I booted it up only to see that my screen had no touch ability. Tried to go back to recovery to reflash but noticed I was back on stock recovery which means everything I flash can't pass signature verification. I have been trying to fix it for 2 days now. Can't odin flash because it now fails every time. Can't adb sideload because cmd prompt can see my device but says it's offline. I am really out of options. The phone isn't hard bricked because I can still boot up the phone. It just stops at the Google welcome screen. I can get into download mode and recovery mode as well. I do have a nand but I don't know how to use it in my situation. Please help.....I repeat PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Thanks

Did you flash the JB kernel with Agat recovery from the OP? Do that through Odin, and it will get you custom recovery and you can flash your nand. Try downloading the rom again. Sounds like a bad download, and make sure you check md5, and thank @agat63 and @garwynn, and @rwilco12 if you see them around!

Yea I had a bad download. Fixed my problem tho. I just had to use a different computer. For some reason one of the usb drivers kept failing to install and I didn't notice it. Switched computers and odin and ADB worked perfect and I got my phone back in business.

I'm no pro by any means and this may not work for you but I would suggest downloading an ADB over wifi app from the market which would eliminate the need for your broken usb port. Then you can use ADB to fix your device. Just a suggestion.
