There's an alpha version of PAC with 4.3 already if you're interested too. That one and CM 10.2 (also based on 4.3) are working pretty good as daily drivers.

I can't find the 4.3 build anywhere. Do you have a link?

Guys, here's an experimental very early alpha unofficial PAC 4.3 build. Download here. Don't forget to flash gapps after flashing the rom. Includes CWM Recovery.

I found some bluetooth A2DP issues, it freezes my phone when streaming, but other than that it works pretty well. I built a new one this morning but that one had issues installing Google signed APKs, so use the previous build until a working one gets compiled.

No. Because MySQL database for android differs in 4.2 and 4.3

Got poweramp and have been using it for a long time with PAC and i have no external SD card reading issues. I have all my music stored on EXT SD and it reads everything just fine.

Stock can probably read extFat, this rom can not. Reformat to fat32.

Here's a new build of PAC 10.2. Remember, this is unofficial, unsupported and you will not get any help if you report bugs to the PAC devs.

IR Blaster is a framework thing iirc but someone has made an IR Blaster app for CM so it probably won't take long for it to become implemented in official builds.

Seems like this rom for the Samsung Galaxy S4, has IR Blaster support. The thread states: "Cyanogenmod has had working code for the IR blaster sitting in limbo on their gerrit".

Would this IR Blaster code in CM be specific to the S4, or would it also work on the Xperia ZL?

If it's the IR Blaster project that I remember from the Xperia Z Tablet competition, then it should work on the ZL.
