I'm using a Stock kernel and a Customized RU 5.1.1 rom with xposed framework and root. With this config an wakelock msm_hsic_host is preventing my phone to deep sleep showing in Better battery Stats. In this rom we have solved this problem? If yes I'll wanna try!

Yes. If u do a clean install you should wait for atleast 20 minuts to start the home screen..

Yes. U can. Open any image using any file manager. When it open it will ask you for Quickpick or Album u want to open. Click Quickpick and then select Always.. Thats it

Or u can simply remove Album from system using root explorer...

Something was wrong or this just not working. When i try to open photos from filemanager (ES Explorer) they opens by QuickPic, but Album still launches from camera. I've tried to "freeze" Album in Titanium Backup but after that nothing happens when i tap on photo tumbnail in camera. QuickPic still want to open from there.
QuickPic is default app for photos.

How can you make a rom and not even have hardware to test it on? Why don't we need to fastboot flash a boot.img like most roms? I gave it 25 minutes to boot after a wipe and install, and was stuck at loading screen still.... I see BeatB's post (#13) I think you need to flash a stock kernel if your currently not on one? Where do I find the stock kernel in this zip? I found this kernel and am trying it now, I hear music at boot and that is new, loading screen is showing... Will wait another 20minutes and post. Wish the install was as straight forward as your instructions state.

Flashing a stock kernel was required for me, I ran Validus and had a custom kernel. So to anyone else with custom kernels here is what I did to get running..

get the boot.img and thank shoey63 for the kernel first of all.. - fastboot flash boot boot.img
Now when you reboot go into recovery, wipe and install per instructions in OP and reboot again.. gl hf!

What are u talking about? The ZL kernel is already included in this rom. Stock ZL kernel.. Why u need another stock kernel..?

I thought I read a long time ago that kernels on these phones could not just be flash installed and you must fastboot flash a kernel on this phone. This is how I understand it.. This ROM would not load until a stock kernel was flashed and ROM reinstalled.. I could not find your boot.img in the zip..

There is no need to flash any kernels before flashing this rom. This rom contains stock ZL kernel inside the zip.

Of course it's necessary. I come from CM12.1 and the Rom didnt boot for 50 Minutes. It stucks in the boot Screen. Then i flashed this Kernel: KlickKlack
After 5 Minutes everything is fine, the Rom starts.

I want to go to 5.1.1 and I want you to double-tap has to work. this ROM has the double tap to wake running?
