I did get a hardbrick last week. QHUSB in device manager. Pulled too late at 9%.

Not true-it can be bricked by the ZV9 from ZVA pull method too. I bricked with a constant Security error bootloop. It reboots every few seconds, so no time for any drivers to see phone, so no DL mode, No recovery Mode, etc. Pulling the cord out after the 9% passed by mistake and must have corrupted partitions. I have sent my phone to LG repair. This is a risky method, and i have hacking and ROM developing since the HTC Hero days. Everyone must be careful. Was thinking same thing but this version works. Only scared im gonna brick it. Updates r gonna be scary every time unless an easier way gets found.
Next update is going to include a Global/International GSM compatible version.

We dont think so, normal to downgrade from zva/zv9 to zv6 or reflash zv9 to zv9, no problem when try open port, problem if have all by yourself, dont try turn off firmware update when lg up run to 10 or 11% it was delete laf, if try power off maybe can get brick , in my country We never wait Lg center, I do it without any problem

Glad to hear it! Ill look into changing the dpi if enough people would like that and all the apps still work.
No there is no hope for root with a locked boot loader. I personally use the built in LG Backup app.
Usually about 3-5 minutes at most.

Try typing "id" in the send_command screen then press enter. What happens? Are ypu sure your choosing the DIAG port and not the other port?Welp, don't know that mines gonna work.
