so I TOT back to ls991ZVB successfully by editing the TOT file with winhex and change the model to H810 because the phone was previously converted to H810 and it wouldn't flash the unedited TOT it throw an ERROR "invalid TOT file"
Now i'm on official ls991zvb bu the phone is locked!
i m trying to flash this mellowmallow image! but it's not flashing! after sending the command it's stuck there!
the real question is that it's still showing the version in LGUP as h81021y even i'm on official ls991zvb!
is it the bootloader version?
if yes will this bootloader allow this dd command to flash this mellowmallow.img!
i think it wouldn't thats why it's not flashing!
am i right?

i m on official Zvb but it is still showing as "H81021y" in LGUP version tab!
and the unedited TOT will failed with ERROR(TOT file is invalid) unless i edit the TOT with winhex and change the model to "H81021y"

Thats whats weird cause flash tool lg up all of them restor the device straight out of the box..
When say you flash the zvb firms it has the zvb bootloader so on and forth...
Thats why your case is different, I didnt dabb to much in cross flashing He knows more about this topic than i As the bootloader on zvb has increased anti rolllback value which means no downgrade..But Shouldnt be cross flashable either But I may be wrong as i said I didnt mess around in this area to much

Bootloader will not be skipped when flashing. Only some other partitions.
Your bootloader is ZVB now. Lgup shows what is stored in the misc partition. This will change when you boot up the zvb stock rom usually. Sometimes this just don't change especially when doing cross flashing.

I'm sorry but I can't help you in flashing that ROM. It's not mine and I have no ls991.

For this you would need to dump and edit the misc partition.
Dumping is not an issue. You can use SALT for this as already mentioned. But as you cannot root on zvb you can't flash it back. So that's useless.

Your only chance is to wait until i found a way to be able to flash on MM firmwares in SALT or continue to do those modifications on the tot file.

PS: using the thx button on useful posts is something appreciated by many ppl here.. not only me

Hello,

I'm hoping someone with knowledge on this Rom sees this.

I have a lS991 (sprint g4) that I have ICII unlocked (sprint official carrier unlocked) and I am using the phone on T-Mobile. On stock firmware I have not been able to get MMS to work or mobile hotspot (it says that it is not active and tries to connect to sprint to activate it)

Would mellow mallow allow me to do either of these things?

Would flashing mellow mallow lock my phone to sprint again?

Should I flash the international or stock version?
