Can't wait, I'm a flashaholic... Lol...I've been back and forth with this and anything ported for the past two weeks... This is my go to...
I tried to use ROM toolbox pro to change framework animations (I know, risky and dumb, but I want it)... Can anyone tell me how to change framework animation on this device, the RTP app just continously loads while installing... No biggie, I'm just curious...

I used to be one as well, lol crazy times. For the animations; I had some here at the end of the op, I used metamorph to change them, however u can decompile framework-res, go to the anim folder, you'll see most of them there. Be careful if u gonna play around with those and make sure u have a nandroid of what u have now before doing anything.

Using as my dd for the week and awesome. Only issue I've had is that yesterday, while using it for navigation it got really hot and then had to shut down. Since then, I've had some occasional instances where the screen became unresponsive while on. I missed a few calls because of it. Seems to not be happening anymore, but thought it might be helpful to report.

The heat issue is most likely caused by the overclock. By default the temp throttle is off and the CPU is overclocked to 2.5Ghz. I recommend using trickster mod to change the max speed to the stock 2.2Ghz to reduce heat and make it more stable.

I've been experiencing some issues myself. Occasionally background apps will say they've stop responding. Even apps I haven't opened since my last reboot will say they've stopped responding, ones that to my knowledge don't normally automatically run in the background.

I'm desperate, I'm sorry to ask for help, i try to solve things by searching and reading reading reading. but I'm stumped.

i was on 2.2, and love it! i wasn't on 2.3 yet. i was getting the Sprint update notification but just ignored it... i was going to do 2.3 this past weekend, so i wasn't concerned.

i was watching tv, and stepped out of the room for a few minutes, leaving my phone on the table with kids in there....i had a locked screen, but still, phone was in recovery. twrp i think 2.2.6.3, whatever the second newest is. so i go to reboot... back to recovery. i try to boot into reset and recovery and normal, it only will boot into recovery. i have no idea what they could have done to it, i am assuming they managed to take the Sprint ota update??

i cannot get adb to recognize the phone for sideloading anything on it. I've tried uninstalling all drivers, reinstalling newest and older lg drivers, putting phone in twrp sideload mode and without, installing different lg device composite usb, or mdf drivers, I've tried all combinations i can think of all weekend long... nothing works! if i change the twrp to sideload mode while plugged in to the computer, the computer crashes to bluescreen. It's very scary, but so far, no damage...

i just want to get stuff off if it's bricked... my last backup was a month ago, and forgetting some work stuff on there, i have a recent wedding photos and children birthday party i am in need to copy off before i lose the phone or do i complete wipe. i know they are on there because if i go file explorer from the phone in twrp, i can see them...

is there anything anyone can suggest or somewhere you can point me towards?

thank you

As I said before, I suggest people who have heat issues use trickster mod to change the max speed to the stock 2.2Ghz and turn the temperature throttle on. The temp throttle really makes a difference when using graphically intense apps like games or navigation.

    TEAM 420 PRESENTS:

    1jro.png

This Rom is based on the new ZVC SPARK update, OpTimuS is a stock rom for the performance oriented but with battery in mind users, who like me like to get more speed, performance and responsiveness out of this quad core beast that is the LG G2, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do... Well enough said, lets move on to goodies
    .

    Installation:

:eek:Make sure you do a back up of what you have now, but specially of your efs and copy your back up to your computer just in case. The G2 has proven to me to be a bit too variable when it comes to flashing roms, radios, etc. We have gone through a lot of hours of testing and hair pulling trial and error to bring this latest update that is ZVC, so protect yourself at all times. I am not responsible for anything going wrong on your device.

Make sure you have wifi available, you gonna need to Update PROFILE, PRL and ACTIVATE device in settings, that way you can pick up data right away without waiting.

    FOR ZVA TO ZVC:

    DOWNLOAD OpTimuS DE V2.3ZVC

DOWNLOAD FURNACE KERNEL FOR JDI SCREENS (USE THIS ONE IF YOU GET THE WHITE LINES FROM HELL)

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BY YOUDUG HERE, REPLACE THE STOCK ROM WITH OpTimuS DE V2.3ZVC:

    ZVA TO ZVC

    ****************************************************

    If coming from ZVC:

Full wipe except sd card and Flash OpTimuS DE V2.3ZVC, reboot and enjoy!

Congratulations you are now ZVC OpTimuS ready!

    Thanks to:

Viper4Android sound mod Thanks to Viper520 and zhuhang , also Thanks to droidmk for introducing it to us, this mod is the best sound mod I've tested so far
    Here's the main thread

    To Activate viper audio:

    1-Find the viperaudio app
2-Open it, is gonna ask you to install the audio driver, click yes.
    3-Install CortexA8 with NEON.

    4-Reboot, enjoy!

    viper4Android thread

Xposed framework thanks to rovo89, Gravitybox thanks to C3C076 and BonezMontana for introducing it to us.

Xposed framework gives you the ability of modifying and theming without the need to modify the apps in the rom, so it goes on top of the rom sort of speak, its very easy to use and there are tons of modules with all kinds of modifications, simply awesome!

    To activate Xposed:

1-Find the Xposed installer app in your app drawer
2-Open it and go to framework
3- Choose Install/Update, the system will install the drivers and files needed
4-Go to modules and select gravity box
5-Reboot and enjoy! after reboot, find the gravity box app and start having fun!
6-Why stop with gravity? go ahead and find more modules of your liking, don't forget to thank the guys responsible for all of this!

    Xposed thread

    GravityBox thread

    Modules collection for Xposed

    More themes for Xposed
