Hi I was looking for something like what you have mentioned in the post. I installed ROM, but I stuck at boot animation. I waited for almost 15 minutes for dust to settle but my devices never get past it. Is it normal, does it take long time in first boot?

Or am I doing something wrong?

Nope, just via Custom Recovery and with Unlocked Bootloader.
