Here I am, back from a brief kitkat experience.. to much bloat for me!
I'm having trouble unfreezing google play services (first I disabled all activities, then systencleanup offered me the option to freeze all the app): is the only one in the list of frozen apps that doesn't have the "unfreeze apk"... have you experienced the same problem?

EDIT: nevermind, solved by manually copying the app from data to system!

Yes it is: only "system/app" can be freezed/unfreezed :good:

Strange things happened yesterday... I was going to update and odes lighting launcher and system cleanup, but at the reboot I was stuck at boot screen. then I reflashed superleggera from CWM backup (since I didn't have any recent backup of mine) and all my apps... I used it all the day and the battery kept saying it's at 100%, until late night, when it died. I assumed it had something to do with battery calibration, so I plug the charger and went to bed with the phone off. Then in the morning I found my Ray turned on (ok, maybe when I went to bed I didn't realized to have it turned on, too tired!), but after some minutes of using it the battery went from 100% to 0%!!!! I replaced the battery with the old one just to see if something happens, but everything stays the same. I tried to wipe battery stats without success.
I searched the forum and they say to reflash the kernel, which I did (CTC) but nothing happened.
Now I'm waiting to drain all the battery and wipe battery stats again.
Any hints?

100% battery is CTC bug, try lupus

For the first minutes after i boot it shows the help text "swipe up or down to unlock" but after a while that text is gone and it's only a black background there. I can unlock it fine by just swiping but the help text is gone. Anyone can help with this issue or if it can't be fixed how can I change the default lockscreen with another? See the picture bellow to understand what i'm talking about.

It's allright:text will displayed only for three times,then it disappear.
But if you delete UxpNxtLockScreen.apk (& UxpNxtLockScreen.odex if you are on odexed version) you will have the aokp lockscreen :good:

It's not an issue: it is "fastShot"feature....

1. I tried using your odex script in TWRP recovery and it seems to not work or I'm doing something wrong here. Could use some help in figuring what's with the "segmentation fault". I attached the log file: View attachment odex.txt Ok I managed this one with CWM and mounting system part in recovery. I think I might have forgotten to do this before in TWRP.
2. I also have problems sometimes with writing on the SD card and I have to reboot and it works after that.
3. The notification bar sometimes disappears without any fc message and it reappears after a couple of seconds.
4. Was wondering what adreno drivers are you using in your ROM. I have some problems with NFS Most Wanted (I can see the car but nothing else, no road or surroundings) and I tried to install adreno v4, v5 and SX versions from your thread. Sadly none resolved my issues but now I'm getting lower FPS in nenamark2 (with SX drivers). I used to get around 40FPS now I'm at 30-32. On the same note with your default drivers I had to force 2D acceleration on otherwise when I had the phone in landscape mode the screen would mess up bigtime even in phone menus (this wasn't a big issue though).

Edit: Still facing some weird bugs with SX drivers with most of the games that used to work on my Ray. NFS is still unplayable, Dead Trigger 2 just closes up after i play a level and similar problems with Dark Avengers. I eventualy switched to adreno V5 and Dark Avengers seems to work now but the rest are still a no go. I'm guessing it's the drivers fault or something. I'm no expert so have no clue sadly.

It's simple:
1 install the launcher you prefer
2 use system cleanup to move the new launcher to system app
3 reboot
4 remove lightning (with systemcleanup or titanium backup)
...done!
