Can't get the theme engine to work. Even with that .apk.

It loads, however when I wanna download a theme it just says can't connect to Samsung store.

Also, swift installer won't install themes either. Root mode was used with magisk module for systemless install and also tried without that.

Just keeps saying after compiling overlays "installation cancelled".

I know it isn't part of the rom and you probably can't support it but maybe you or some other user knows a solution?

If anyone can help it's much appreciated.
I've been staying on 8.1 for V4A compatibility reasons but want to give this a try.
My question is, since this rom COMES WITH updated VENDOR AND MODEM and if I want to go back to 8.1, would I just flash the 8.1 vendor .img before restoring my nandroid or do I have to go into odin and flash modem also first?

You can use es file explorer to go to this location.

"Root"/system/priv-app/themestore.

Rename old themestore.apk to something like this

themestore.japk

Now move one of the ones above, into this location, set permissions, reboot.

If normal install won't work for you, this is the next best solution. It installs normal for me as a apk.View attachment 4672916
