Don' t use that kernel.
Use Trinity or Nut's one.

Or flash 108 - 118 tft. Root it by Newroot , install Recovery by Nut's kernel
Then flash the Rom.
Good luck.

installed this yesterday. couple of questions.

I'm still getting the sony update notification 14.4.a.0.108 (despite having turned notifications for the update app off)

When i installed the rom i installed the 9.1 OTA update afterwards, but in the system prefs it still says its 9.0

there is mention of OTA, is there an OTA update app as part of this rom as I do not seem to see it (unless it is using the sony update app which would explain my above questions i guess!)

thanks

I have got the problem that the Chinese file names become question marks in extern sd
I think it is the problem that your rom didn't use UTF8 when mounting external sd
My English is worse, hope you can got what I said
Thanks

Hi,

I am stuck upgrading this rom. These are the steps I performed

9 - Install rom
10 - Install dualrecovery for LB
11 - Power off the device (on advanced-power off)

Right now I am stuck in TWRP. There is no advanced-poweroff, just a reboot button. How can I just power off the device, so I am able to install the kernel? I tried the command line in twrp, but it does not recognize the shutdwon command- Thanks.

regards, heinzelrumpel

To force shutdown, hold down power and volume up buttons until the phone vibrates.

Hey guys, bunch of questions... Smart Display backlight doesn't seem to be working, and a while ago, I had two little shortcuts in the notification panel to start a new note and start a new sketch. They never showed up there before, and now they're gone, I really want them back, is there a way I can toggle it?

EDIT: For people like me who didn't know, if you turn on pen mode with pimpmyZ1, and use a pen, you'll get shortcuts in the notification panel to start a new note or a new sketch.

Still asking about the smart display bug..

I'm on 9.1, rooted, with TWRP on C6906 on Rogers. Locked BL and the kernel thing you had me flash in the instructions. All apps are their latest variants as of this posting date/time. All is working fine from a communications standpoint, but I think I found a bug. Unsure if it's RomAur or something else, but I'm suspecting it's RomAur.

See the attached images.

In programs like Google Hangouts, Twitter, and Facebook App (both Messenger and main app), when you go landscape, you get the proper full screen entry. Things are good, it's easier to read and select text, see spelling errors, etc.

In Chrome, and select few other programs, but mostly Chrome, when you go portrait or landscape and try to enter text, it doesn't properly fill your screen as expected. I can see if in portrait I can see this as OK, but landscape, it's nearly impossible to enter text. A single line is fine, but go beyond one line then things are buggered.

Any help with this? I'm using SwiftKey, and I tried the stock Xperia Keyboard, both replicate the results. Screenshots show SwiftKey for this though.. take my word on it not working with Xperia keyboard :p

Also using Google Now Launcher, modified with XGELS.

Hello everyone
I would try to install this ROM but I can not download the file:

- RomAur v9.1
- Kernel and baseband .108 c6903

There is the possibility of having alternate addresses, the mirror ..

Thank you for your help

Hi,

i had a close look and did not quite find the answers here.
Does this rom come with Gapps and all Sony Apps(walkman, stamina, bravia) or do I need to add those myself?

Thank you!

Followed instructions and still can't get supersu access. Flashed latest supersu. Same. Flashed older 1.93...same. Thoughts?

Flashed trinity kernel and then supersu again and is okay now

Hi, good afternoon...

I have a Xperia Z1, with a stock rom 4.4.4 (originally sony) root, superSU, Philz Recovery...

I need to repeat all the process:

1 - Always flashing FTF WITHOUT TA
2 - EasyRoot Tool
3 - Backup TA
4 - Install the latest dualrecovery for LB [NUT]
5 - Download and copy to sdcard the latest dualrecovery flasheable for LB [NUT]

?

Thanks a lot!

1. I am having this exact same problem. Please advise.

2. I managed to disable to Xperia lockscreen and is using the AOSP lockscreen. However, despite configuring GravityBox module, I am still unable to get the battery ring indicator and torch on the lockscreen.
