Uploading new PA build now... Find it here when it's done ----> http://www.mediafire.com/folder/i09gganxn5uvz/PA_4.3

Sorry for the delay :p...

Changelog ---> Check CM10.2 thread for device stuff & here for PA stuff....

@TJKV should we make the 4.3 thread now and just add KK when it's here or just leave it as it is for now?
I moved from SB to latest PA. It is really snappy but it is awfully battery consuming. Anyone experiencing this?

Can anyone compare SB to PA?
Performance wise, battery wise.
Don't wanna waste my time cuz of really low speeds :p

SB is the lightest ROM I've ever seen with only 100MB, and adding TKJV minimal gapps, this results in more than 1.2GB of free internal memory space for your Defy. SB has many customizations compared to CM. Some examples: interface transparency, PIE, DPI change, Nova launcher as the default launcher, SU built-in settings, etc. The last build (4.3 build2) is very stable, except for the bluetooth call problem, that is robotic, as all other 4.2-4.3 ROMs.

Unfortunately, I never tried PA, so I can't compare.

You should know that it was most likely not the battery draining issue. When you change roms you shold fullwipe. When you do that, your battery stats file gets deleted(which is by the way what any recalibration app does). It takes a few charging cycles to rebuild after flashing.
So, no draining issue, but battery calibration.

Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you :p
*
* Also no eta's as am not a dev and solving bugs will be hard for me and this is done for fun....Thanks to
Steve kondik for his nice sense of comedy :)
A.O.S.P P.A.R.A.D.I.S.E V.2

Roms will work on both Defy and Defy+ thanks to Quarx's and Blechd0se AeroKernel :)
No changes required to support Defy(mb525) just flash the rom of your choice

All Roms in this thread will be based on AOSP 4.2.2

Here we are again with the second edition of AOSP Paradise bringing your favourite AOSP roms to the ever defying Motorola Defy
As usual these roms will be built using the source code provided by the teams or individuals responsible for making these wonderful AOSP roms so you will find zero win-zip or bases of CM 10.1 here ;) :p

These roms are brought to you thanks to the people who build these roms, Quarx for continuing to provide support for the defy and my many hours of reading, looking and comparing source code :). Am doing this with very little programming language knowledge just mainly enthusiasm as I find this fun so thank it easy with the bugs and stuff :p

Thanks -
Quarx - For his advice, knowledge and continuous work on the Defy's device and vendor trees which make this possible

Donations if you really want to thank these guys for their hard work
Team CM

Donate to CyanogenMod
Donate to Quarx
Donate to Epsylon3
Donate to Maniac103
Donate to nadlab
ak
Blechd0se

If you use my work as your base rom please give some credit to me for my hours on working on this -
I mean it's only fair after the work I have done and don't forget to give original credits to the people
above for making the roms and providing the source code in the Spirit of android.

Some Ground rules -

- Instead of posting asking which rom is better than the other why don't you try them all yourself as only you can make the decision in the end ;)

- Read OP, F.A.Q and individual rom O.Ps before asking any question. Your answer is probably already there

- Please don't send me questions via PM as I will probably ignore them

Gapps

You can use any Gapps package you want this is either the full gapps package from http://goo.im/gapps or a minimal gapps package by @TJKV here
F.A.Q

- When coming from another ROM full wipe

- When updating between ROM versions wipe cache and dalvik should be fine.

Enjoy and remember Search before posting

how to :rolleyes:set apn mobile data

sadly for me, 20131027 of 4.3 version has a chance with that filesystem bug, which will make the system not booting again, unless reinstalling and deleting the data partition, besides, my battery was almost gone, so, i'll need to wait a bit to get an external battery charger
too sad, since SlimUI is my favorite android mod, since it's very very fast

i've used Paranoid Android, i've heard on a repply on this post, some people which tryed with an custom kernel and they run like CM7, but i never tryed, my experience with it with one hour, as we're talking in speed, it's like any cyanogenmod vainilla port, sometimes slow :B

Slimbean 4.3 Final Build 2.2 uploaded.
Thank you TJKV!
I have one question, in the changelog you state that some gapps are updated, it means the rom come with gapps included?
Looking at the rar file I can`t see apps updated, like youtube and google play (stated at the changelog).
Sorry to ask, but in the first page you state that Gapps are as in first post, there it says I can use any gapps and so, I confused. Ty!

the changelog refers to the gapps, that you can download from their site under addons. Gapps are never included.

Yes any gapps is fine, it also says you can use my minimal gapps. Also there is one for slimbean, where play store and gmscore is patched to support the custom DPI settings in SB.

Can anybody help me with this BIG issue? I'm using last Slim in a MB525 and my battery is working wrong (N) Take a look.

Is it like it charges up to 25% and then it goes straight to 100%.
Thanks in advance.-

Image doesn't load. But the issue is probably that your battery has aged. You'll have to buy a new one. Ask in the Accessories forum...
