Another build with the colour (hopefully) fixed is uploaded. I haven't had the time to test it though, so someone please let me know when you do.

I need a working version. Do you plan to upload a new version in the next hour  Please
No like I said it was a test thing. Would have tested myself under normal circumstances. You can go back to the previous 2.2 build or wait for a day or two :)
It is 3:30AM here.

Okay, sorry. Never mind. I swapped 'ramdisk' with older version. Anyways a great ROM for the Defy. Thank you!

Slimroms has released their official final 4.3.1 builds, I think so has CM. So Slimbean 4.3.1 final build is finally final for Defy too. I cleaned up my local manifest file and sorted out some small niggles here and there like sd card, inverted colours etc.

Go and grab it, and hopefully see you guys later on the kitkat side of the break :)

we are want to taste slim kitkat
All your base are belong to us.

Just kidding :) Slimkat is still "alpha" but I think it's close to beta now. I hope we don't have to wait too long for it reaching our defys. Till then, I changed my wallpaper to the one Slimkat is using and pretend it isn't CM :silly:

If you guys want a taste then I have no problem in whipping one up, just don't complain about borken stuff :p

For one, in slimkat reboot to recovery boots to stock recovery rather than twrp, so we have to do a normal reboot and press vol down to get to it. Might be that slimroms hasn't integrated all the required code yet, they are doing things slowly so as to make the best fit for kk rather than bulk integrate old code and then fixing the numerous problems and incompatibilities that will popup.

I'm currently on Quarx CM 4.1.2 and I'd like to try Slimbean 4.3.1. I have a few questions if you don't mind.

In the first posts I read that it is recommended to wipe the system partition. The problem is that everytime I asked TWRP to do something, it crashed. My question is, is wiping the system partition "recommended" in the "or else it will definitely bug" way or is it "recommended" in the "it's just cleaner" way?

I plan on wiping data/cache, installing slimbean zip, minimal gapps and rebooting. Do I forget anything? Is there anything specific to transition from CM 4.1.2 to SlimBean 4.3.1? Sorry for your trouble, I just don't want to flash a SBF today.
