BTW if someone wants to try halo, Mokee OS open source also haves it. Im using it right now and it works fine, so you could check their code if you want too. Just my 5 cents.

Halo is not the problem working like auf charm over here but the SystemUI is starting very slowly for some reason.. but only when there are changes i. e. for bat icon..

EDIT: ok it was my own fault when wiping everything before flashing PAC v23 (latest build) everything should work fine

- the wifi & kernel changes of cm10.1

EDIT: ok one issue is persisting.. also had this one on kayants build:
- SystemUI is starting extremely slowly so there's long time no Status bar & halo..

Only to give feedback. As you've said systemui is very slow. And no app gets su-rights.

the slow systemui can be fixed with a wipe but the su-bug is a mystery.. experiencing the same now and don't know how to handle that..

That's because you probably don't have to new setup as the PAC them moved to CM superuser recently so am guessing you built before I merged in the changes......

I will have a build out for friday hopefully as I am finishing school then

ok.. will try again now lets see

EDIT: giving it up now.. getting a bootloop on the latest build.. cleared out all the out folder.. maybe continuing working on it after the weekend

Hey @Kayant , what is inside the /data/lost+found partition? I just realised that it accounts for around 700+mb of space on the internal storage of the device. Because of this, I am unable to install anyything... especially since I have 200+ apps. Please let me know if it is safe to delete the contents of this folder.

That's a virtual folder on the Linux file system structure. I'm not sure, but I believe you can't delete it even if you want it.

Well, I did manage to clear around 500 mb .... was enoug hfor my apps.... however, this rom brilliant thought it is, is very laggy. How can I speed things up?
First, I would like to disable pie controls. How do I do that.

To disable pie settings ---> system ---> pie settings ---> Trigger area ---< set it to none.

Why in this version (mb526_PAC_JB_4.2.2-v23.0.0_20130617-124022.zip) ROOT desapear?, is a problem of the Rom, because when i install Another like Mokee de root still exists.
How can i solve this problem?

evry rom
i still cant figure out whats wrong with my battery!
with close to no use it dies in less than 12 hrs ( no data nothing)
Id appreciate if anyone could help me through this one
I love my defy and cant get a new phone so ... :"(

It sounds like your battery is broken. Buy a new one and it should be better.

Other than the fact that they are both waterproof, there is nothing similar between the XT and MB525/MB526. Nothing for the latter will work on the former, it will only brick your device.

yep I'd give you the same hint.. I had the same issues plus heavy battery leaps and now with the new battery everything is fine

Question on the wipe; are u suggesting a full wipe & re-flash of the system, or ...what?
Also, a pop-up came thru today saying an error was detected on the telophony layer? anyone else with this?

factory reset and only restoring user apps
don't know about the telephony layer..
