Hello everyone, this is my first experience with an android device. I bought few days ago a TCL s950. I installed MIUI rom but I encountered a big problem.

I can't connect the device to my pc. When I connet it Windows says me to format sd. I tried to change a lot of options but I didn't find the solution. Anyone colud help me?

You mustnt connect it as a storage device. The S950 only supports MTP. So choose MTP in your storage options. But reboot your phone first. Once you selected something different it wont work anymore.

Can anybody tell me what the most recent multilang version of the TCL ROM is? The one I found at 4pda.ru was 01002, but with some "hard coded" russian text in some apps. Is there any "real" multilang version, newer than 01001/2 ?

The best look-a-like from CM is any rom with a alternative launcher like apex.

I think TCL will bring 4.4 to the X+ AND the X.

I have a gut feeling that X and X+ sales are performing weakly. From strategy point of view I'm not sure if it makes sense to support both phones with the latest software updates. Except if they have a lot of money and want to expand on the market of course. I love the X, I don't think I'll change it for another phone as long as it serves me well.

Go to 4pda there is a dev called blizzz or something like that...his roms are quite good im using his 01014 right now

Hello to everyone! I have the Alcatel One Touch Idol x and i have some problems! Some of them :
1. Suddenly the brightness level rise down
2. The luncher by itself moves the icons like an invisible hand touch the screen!!
3. When I end a call the screen keeps off for some seconds
Does anyone notice these problems? Which rom do you propose to me?
