EDIT: Looks like the rom IS working with latest Xposed BUT bootloped when installing Gravitybox

My phone is 01002 and it also had boot loops with XPosed 2.4* but runs fine with XPosed 2.3.1. Latest GravityBox works fine with XPosed 2.3.1.

Did you tried XPosed 2.3.1 to get GravityBox running?

Kernel hard bricked

the custom kernel posted on OP won't work at all. i have 6040D dual sim and flash it then hard bricked my device. using stock rom 01002 Malaysia one, rooted and with Carliv Touch Recovery v2.1

I dont need GB or XP at all, but was testing it for other users. So maybe someone else with this rom can check it with the other/older version of XP?

is it possible to unbrick my 6040D using either Alcatel OT Mobile Upgrade S or SP Flash Tools. My problem is very serious that no battery icon show when i charge my phone (of course i neither can ever turn on at all nor enter recovery) just only white LED indicator lights up. very upset bout it

Yes, Mobile Upgrade S wil lget you to the official version. You can also get to lest available using a small mod (provided by Bzzzz3), see in OP.

Rom not showing in SD Card

Hi there,

I'm looking for some help. I've gotten to the point where I'm reading to flash with the original rom on my 6040a, the file which I've put in the SD card. When in recovery mode using mobileuncle, the zip file is not showing up. Any advice or comments on what I might be doing wrong? I've put the official 1006 file in the root directory, and also tried putting it in one of the subfolders still didn't show.

Just put the ROM on the internal SD card.

I don't understand how that would work seeing the proper steps is to first wipe data/factory reset, that would erase all files on the phone.

Factory reset doesn't do anything to data on the SD card. It just wipes all apps and personal settings and returns to factory defaults.

Hey guys i think i am in serious trouble

I have a one touch 6040a, rooted and running MIUI v5, but I was just giving me trouble so i decided to try to go back into recovery and flash another rom,

but stupid me, pressed the "boot into recovery" because somehow it wouldnt recognize my recovery file in the sd card

now my device wont turn on, absolutely no response

the white light turns on when plugged into usb, windows was trying to recognize the phone but it wasnt successful because it just kept playing the same sound


am i screwed, but is there a way to somehow fixed this

And use SP Flash Tool to flash whatever u need or use Mobile Upgrade S to re-install stock rom

Download the CWM recovery, and flash the in from Mobile Uncle Tools
