Latest version of Xposed causes bootloop, so have the disable_xposed.zip script in you sd
EDIT: Added xposed 2.6 as attachment, which works just fine.
EDIT2: seems the issue is with gravity box 3.1.4 testing previous versions now..

They don't gieve any ETA on FB, only on anzhi they speak about an release at end of july.

No it looks to support English/Chinese ... there are other languages as well but only for input keyboard ( the menu doesn't get translated )

Hi,
I can suggest you to try miui for 6040d. You can fond it on miuiportugal totally mu. ilanguage. I'm using it since april and i couldn't find a better top for our device.
Google miui 6040d and register to download it.

Need some help please!

I have an Alcatel 6040A that is currently soft-bricked and stuck in a boot loop. Flashed a 6043D (idol x+) rom accidentally. Ya, I know :/

I had CWM recovery on it, which was working before, but I am now unable to boot into recovery (I have tried searched this forum and tried every method!) I have been trying to flash the correct rom using sp flash tool but i haven't been able to connect it to my PC. The phone powers off but when i connect it to a usb port, it automatically resumes the boot loop. My computer registers the device connection for about two seconds and then it disconnects. I have (with good timing ) been able to uninstall and reinstall to driver from the device manager, but it hasn't seemed to help at all.

Also tried using adb to boot into recovery but that's a no-go as well due to my limited connection.

Have I completely bricked this phone?? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

ok, the only solution (if you have already installed a rom custom or original ), open sp flash tool, upload your scatter, select original recovery alcatel (no cwm) flash the recovery, disconnect the terminal, and press the combination to get into recovery,if it does not start repeat the flash recovery.
this is the only solution, tested on my terminal in bootloop

Alright thanks! So I guess my problem is that sp flash tool is not detecting my phone's connection. I might not have the right preloader so I'll look into that as well. We're you able to get sp flash to download to your phone even in a boot loop? My phone won't stay powered off. It's starts a boot loop whenever I connect. Is that an issue?

Hello Everyone,

I've had a problem while installing the last AOSP, I didn't found what is the problem (i guess it's something with corrupted files...)

The problem is that now my phone is stucked in boot animation, SP Flash tool work and is able to install a ROM, the problem is that I don't find a ROM which works for my phone (6040D - Idol X)

Can anyone give me a link to a functionnal ROM for my phone? I don't care about the langage as I will reload right away the AOSP ROM

EDIT: found a Solution, but now CWM do not recognize the Internal Storage and say : Can't Mount E:\

EDIT2: Found a Solution : FIY : I reinstalled cwm after trying to instal another Recovery (TWRP) and it worked just fine . Now i'm Looking for the best ROM

Returning to stock

Does anybody knows how to flash stock recovery?
Sadly, I have to return it to the carrier.
I have CWM (just like it says in signature) and MobileUncle tools installed.
The complete information about my phone is in the signature.

Stuck in boot loop too.

You can recover it with SP Flash Tools or Mobile Upgrade S.

With SP Flash, after you select the scatter file, select only recovery, boot img and system. After that you should be able to reboot to recovery.

Or follow the instructions in OP, with SP Flash tool to wipe everything.

You would need to press the Power button for 15" while is connected to the PC for the SP Flash or Mobile Upgrade to see it.

Thanks for being there and doing all the heavy lifting for us people out there.

I seem to be in the same bootloop situation as mentioned. I've been trying everything (as fas as I know) with no avail.

SP Flash tells me that I need to check if my scatter file is legal. (I don't know how to solve this)
My device is also not even recognized through adb...

To get to this place all I did was flash the "Idol-X S4 UI v1.5" ROM.

I'm sure the solution is probably not so difficult, but I just can't see it.

Im using this rom, i found out that when i connected the phone to pc via usb, it just charge the phone, it does not go to usb connection option. the keyboard also stopped working. any solution to this?

In the "Idol-X S4 UI v1.5" ROM there is no google play store and the fm radio crashes!
