Yes it works for dual sim

You have to "extract" the rar dile with mtkdroidtools (see my previous post), it will create files that you can flash with Sp flash tools

did you click on 'to process file ROM_from Flash Tool' ?
try with the rar file and with the file inside the rar

I think your phone has to be plugged to your computer (not sure)

Help me...i just formated the device with sp tools by mistake...formated bootloader too
nw it wont event boot...just the white led and the device can be read on sp tool anymore just broom error failed

Well i used the MTK Tools ran the ROM_0 and dont know where is it now

There are 2 same scatter folders but one of them ends with PMT what is that?

You should remove everything in the backups folder then extract ROM_0 again

How could i download and install the Update since when ever i go to the System Update it is saying that it cant be downloaded cause i am rooted any helpful tip. I have Stock Rom and a CWM 5.5.0.4

I have the same problem with this rom, but it seems that there is no update for this rom

Use Mobile Upgrade from official site, it will install proper version to your phone. I do it each I brake my phone

You are probably the third person to tell me to do this

but everytime i tried using Mobile Upgrade, i was not able to get it to work, as it says "the latest version is already install on your phone, and can not be updated"

PLEASE tell me how you bypass that

also, does anyone with a 6040a has the modem.img file ??

i believe that it is the dual sim rom that is giving me problems

The Mobile Upgrade never works for me too. It always says that "the latest version is already install on your phone, and can not be updated". It's a mystery!!
