I ended in a bootloop after instaling gravitybox on stock rooted rom (6040D), I can't get the charger trick to work and I need an urgent solution, help is needed, please!!!

EDIT:
Charger mambo jumbo did the trick, data reset done, now waiting...

EDIT2:
And done.
What charger mumbo jumbo? I installed gravitybox and now am stuck at 'Alcatel onetouch' & 'smart move' logo. Can you explain what to do? Thanks in advance.

Edit: Seen the post from member acca. Doesn't work for me, it won't boot in recovery. Is there any other way to resolve this?

Edit2: Problem solved with disabling xposed.

in those russian forums they are discussing, about issues with the chinese beta ROM, in multiple times some users had asked for the rom file but bzzz and the other experienced users have declined to the petition.

The rom file is hosted in bbs (dot) tcmobile (dot) com, but is very dificult to a non chinese language speaker, donload it. If you guys can get it and post it for us to experiment on it, I will appreciated it much.

Thanks :good:
The rom is very far from stable and there are many problems to solve.

Camera, glitches and slowlines are some points in the latest beta 4.

So for sure not a public one.

How did you disable Xposed when you couldn't reboot to recovery? The charger trick didn't work for me in the first place, I even wanted to disassemble the phone to remove the battery, but after 10+ attempts it worked. Then I mended to reboot to stock recovery (didn't have custom one installed) and had to do a factory reset.

During the boot-up press any hard-button once. If it vibrates, press it five more times till a long vibration. Then xposed is disabled.

I Formated my Phone using SP Flash Tool

Okay so this is how i got into this problem:
1-I was stuck on boot when i flashed the 1006.zip ROM that the creator of this thread posted.
2-I could not get into the CWM
3- I tried to use MTK Droid Tools but it did not scan my phone
4-I then used SP Flash Tool to flash the recovery but that did not work so i still could not get manual nor with a PC into the recovery mode
5- Then i did the Format in SP Flash Tool 3.1 as i thought it was the same as factory reset (I think i was wrong)
6-Now it wont even boot.
Please help if you can , i hope i dont have to carry it to the nearby service for them to fix it :(
Thanks in the future!

I installed last beta rom, but no root nor google apps, tried to get root using Kingo ROOT and VRoot but no luck!

Edit: wtf, camera still record in 3gp in kitkat too!! need a mod to mp4 plz...
volume rocker doesn't wake phone anymore! they removed a feature!

can't test much else since no google apps installed or root gettable = no apps restored via titanium backup or even contacts to sync.

any help from dev?

Edit2: I remember SP Flash not working even after disable driver signature on win 8.1 and installing MTK6589 Driver!
THE workaround is to click download then connect usb while phone tuned off...

The Latest kitkat open beta is rootable XD

The beta kitkat

Latest open beta https://yadi.sk/d/IxZoC-YZbgE7t
Remove extension *.txt from files EBR1, EBR2 and MBR.

P.S.
6040A network still doesn't work for Bell/Virgin
twrp touch recovery for 4.4.x View attachment 2953063
is rootable and has a custom recovery.

Needed:
twrp recovery: View attachment 2953063
the kitkat rom: https://yadi.sk/d/IxZoC-YZbgE7t
the zip for rooting: download.chainfire.eu/396/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.94.zip?retrieve_file=1

How to:
you can flash the kitkat rom and the twrp recovery at the same time using spflashtools ( tutorial on how to flash http://androidxda.com/flash-stock-rom-using-smart-phone-flash-tool**** or use the first post )

**** if you use this tutorial you need to unmark PRELOADER and MOBILE_INFO (Warning, it´s dangerous to flash those files. Be sure unmark them) and for me i had to manually select CUSTPACK (click on the "CUSTPACK" text and use the window to navigate to the custpack.img in the kitkat rom) .If you want you can flash the twrp recovery (click on the "RECOVERY" text and use the window to navigate to the View attachment 2953063 you've downloaded earlier) btw you will be replacing the stock one with twrp so do this wile in sptool

and plz dont forget to remove extension *.txt from files EBR1, EBR2 and MBR in the kitkat beta or you wont be abel to flash.

if you are successful in flashing then you can root the device by placing the SuperSU zip in the internal storage and rebooting into recovery via adb http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1853159 and that is it XD

the google play store isn't installed and i dont know how to instal it i can flash it via twrp but it wont open and the google account cant be added i don't know why

i have tested this on the 6040D and it works XD i nije me briga ako sjebete fon nisam odgovoran bla bla(use google translate serbian)
