hi

guys i installed kitkat build 1002 with sp flash as you mentioned.but now when i want to upgrade my phone via mobile upgrade tools it cant identify my phone.when i shut down the phone it doesn't recognize it and phone goes to charger mode with battery image.any help?

Hello, what you should do is keep the power button and volume - pressed together and with that you will recognize the phone!!

so i guess this is official for alcatel. just lucky to have this kitkat version for alcatel

about rooting i just flashed the twrp recovery via sp flash tool and after that flash supersu via recovery works fine now



maybe ramnkc can rip the rom. i am having trouble with mtk tools always having error when making ROM_O

Yup, i install the new twrp recovery via sp flash... but i can't access to my storage... only folder 0->TWRP folder is writable and accessible.
i could rip it.... bu not sure how. Any tutorial i can follow?

Hello, what you should do is keep the power button and volume - pressed together and with that you will recognize the phone!!

i did it but wont work.my phone is not found by sp flash tools or either mobile upgrades...plz help i cant even root my phone to install mobile uncles crying::crying:

You could back up in TWRP Recovery: system, data and boot.

I'm in Malaysia and did mobile upgrade after seeing your screenshot and yes, i do get kitkat version.... but never tried anything yet so far because i'm afraid Alcatel will pull the kitkat off their server due to some kind of error.

Anyway, i can rip and share out the rom if you want... just let me know how !

And maybe you should do a "brick" on your phone and you can try mobile upgrade S tool again..... not sure !

when i bought this phone i rooted it.since that time when i install a fresh rom with mobile upgrade s i cant update my phone.i get them message : your device has been detected root and can not be updated.how can i totally remove root from my phone?

Not sure as i did not install KK beta before as i afraid it might mess up my phone... so far i did not encounter any bugs except for the Dalvik/Art runtime... it won't switch, other than that i found the phone is a little bit laggy sometimes. Probably because of the CPU / Kernal not being optimize due to various of reason (battery, kernal and etc).

You should: flash the stock recovery (If you installed a custom recovery) with ex. Mobiuncle Tools and remove the SuperSu app.

well i just found out that the kitkat i get from mobile upgrade is still the kitkat for tcl. saw the twrp backup folder and it named TCL S950 not alcatel.

Thanks man, but If it's too much trouble, leave it. I'm satisfied with the way beta 1002/1003 works.

I read on LEWA OS forum that they will release an opened beta for LEWA OS 6 on 7th november, I'm not sure If it's based on Kit Kat.

i see....but in beta version i don't encounter any bug also + it is so smooth....just installed GNL and face no lags or anything....i'm totally satisfied with this beta until now...i just wish if there will be kk4.4.4...hehehehehe
