use any explorer with root access. i use x-plore by lonelycat games. replace build.prop in /system

Not /system, it's on /custpack. At least on my phone. /system/build.prop is just a link to the one on /custpack

i remember 1 person said that he got update from mobile upgrade S kitkat 4.4.2 build 1006, which version i also have, he also lives in malaysia

Thanks but your build.prop is not correct because my phone firmware is 1004 and this file not match the firmware version. I replace with this and try to install OTA but fail again. After this I reboot and got bootloop. Trying my luck with Mobile upgrade S see ya in about one hour.

After upgrading to kitkat 4.4.2 how can i root? Use 1 key root can or not? or must use SP flash tool to flash recovery first

install twrp recovery via sp flash tool, and download superSU zip and put it in your sd card, or phone storage, i had to put it on phone because twrp didnt see it on sd, flash superSu from recovery, reboot and thats it..

install twrp recovery via sp flash tool, and download superSU zip and put it in your sd card, or phone storage, i had to put it on phone because twrp didnt see it on sd, flash superSu from recovery, reboot and thats it..

But how to reboot recovery? after i flashed twrp with flashtool i tried use both two method, adb and power+volume down but can't reboot to recovery and direct reboot to android? please help me i can't root anymore thanks

you have to check rsa finger print for adb to recognize your phone

Finally I got root thanks. Reminder: extract twrp recovery first before u flash using so flash tools.

the pid is in first line search for this: MLW6040D-2AN3MY1 (what is mistery for me is which one is good code this code : 2AN3MY1 or this one 2EN3MY1 ).

read item number 6. flashtool and pro_info for 6040D and S950 are in the link. what phone do you have? you want to have build 1006 kitkat 4.4.2 for alcatel?

start flashtoolmod.exe.
choose scatter file.
manually select pro_info.
click download.
wait for green circle and done.
if you want alcatel 4.4.2 1006 upgrade via mobile upgrade.
you should have strong internet connection coz my first upgrade took me 14 hours

first upgrade always take a while. after all the files are downloaded it will only take 20-30 minutes

just installed again lewa os6 again 14.11.21. still lots of bugs. removed location provider.apk now my phone stuck on lockscreen then freeze and reboot. i like lewa a lot. gps also not working. will try latest miui hope it have less bugs
