they think forget the upgrade, the 'old phone' with the upgrade to KK should be S960/6043!

Idol x+ already got update to KK, hopefully, they'll update ours, with full featured kk like s960..

Can u help.me with mine. Im trying to flash comolete stock and recovery back. My phone sim works only half the time now after flashing 6040d recovery by accident. I have conluded thst i need to flash the entire thing somehow and please if you or anybody can help it would be very very appreciated. My sim will stop woring any min now and it bothers the heck out of me.

bro i already have that file. before you can flash the rom you have to partition your system (system = 1.16gb, custpack = 100MB). please download that .rar file in the post and link it here. it contains EBR1 and EBR2. you have to flash it via sp flash tools. and by then you can flash the firmware via recovery. i want to try that rom

for us to try this rom we need to repartition system. i tried doing it but im so noob . in 4pda site there is a modded file flashable via sp flash tool. if we can have that we can try it here

Hi, can someone please upload a back up of the Alcatel 6040A (either touchwiz or CWM)? Mobile Upgrade tool doesn't work because I have a different ROM used. I've tried flashing the 6040X pro_info and that doesn't work either, I was hoping to find a 6040A pro_info as well.

The reason I need this is because my data connectivity doesn't work properly. I'm using the 6040A modem.img from 4.2.2 and I have restricted data. From some reading, I think this happened because the baseband on the dual sim ROMS are different.

As a warning, I don't suggest installing different ROMs on your Alcatel 6040A (without making a backup like I did) until this issue has been sorted out.

so i manage to install this ROM for my device (ALCATEL OT Idol X 6040D). they said that xposed and gravity box are working fine with this.
