Are you using the latest version of Xposed? If so you need to go back to a previous version (2.3.1) if you want to use GB.So in the OP, apparently Gravitybox works, but I can't seem to get it to work, it just bootloops my phone. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix it?
I went to the GB JB page and talked with the developer about it, but he can't see anything wrong in my logs as to what's causing the error.
Oops apparently I wasn't thinking properly. Are you using the latest version of Xposed? If so you need to go back to a previous version (2.3.1) if you want to use GB.
The newest Xposed versions are known to generate boot loop with some modules.
You should also be able to disable it by flashing Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip from any custom recovery.Oops apparently I wasn't thinking properly.
Anyways, I've installed it, and since it doesn't have a boot-time disabler, I'm working on backing up my rom in case any of the modules don't work properly for me.
In case you get into a boot loop:
First, try using the safemode by pressing any hardware key repeatedly. You can find a short explanation how it works here.
If that doesn't work, you can flash the attached Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip by Tungstwenty. It will be copied to your (external) SD card when you install Xposed as well. The only thing it does is copying /system/bin/app_process.orig back to /system/bin/app_process, which you can also do yourself (e.g. with adb shell in recovery mode).
Well, considering I have Carliv touch recovery, as well as the Aroma file manager, as long as I have this information I can fix any Xposed bootloop without even having to flash a zip file. Thanks! You should also be able to disable it by flashing Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip from any custom recovery.
Never had to use it so I cannot speak by experience, but it might be wort a try it in case of need before going to full restore of the rom.
