Rename it to recovery.img, otherwise you try it with adb.

You you can,

1. Root your phone.
2. Install Mobile Uncle Tools.
3. Push one recovery from my signature with Mobile Uncle.
4. Boot to recovery, option in Mobile Uncle.
5. Flash the 01007 like all other roms in cwm.

* dont forget the full wipe!

I have flashed Lewa OS and now my mobile boot but hang on 'LEWA' green screen, I tried to boot on recovery ( power + volume up ) but it doesn't work.

Note:
I had same issue and I remember I got to boot on recovery ( it was a different Lewa Os version ... ) and 'Fix permission' action did the trick.

Recovery boot with volume rocker is not so stable it seems. Try it with adb reboot recovery, this works always for me.

I tried on Linux and ADB was not a lucky strike ( adb can not find the device... however the 'lsusb' show me the device in the list ).
Now I'm trying to install the adb and driver on windows to give a try.

Thanks you very much for you help

I had similar issue and almost thought I bricked my phone because it was continuously booting - device was in boot loop. On 4pda I found recommendation to plug power to the phone, power off the phone, wait a bit, unplug power and boot into recovery in standard way, i.e. using volume up. It worked for me. Is your device in a boot loop?

Better you get the 01007 CWM package, try it with these steps:

1. Root your phone (VRoot)
2. Install Mobile Uncle Tools.
3. Push one recovery from my signature with Mobile Uncle.
4. Boot to recovery, option in Mobile Uncle.
5. Flash the 01007 like all other roms in cwm.
The downloads are in my MEGA share.

The recovery MUST placed in the SDCARD root, not in any subfolder.

Anyway you can also push the recovery via fastboot:

Code:
fastboot flash recovery c:\recovery.img

Lewa Updated ROMs

I have tried Lewa OS for last 3 month and now that I have tried other roms (1 and 6 ) I think this is the best ROM for TCL:
- it is smooth and boot in 2 sec
The only problem was tether not working :( ... so I will try last dev. tomorrow to see if they fixed the annoying issue with tether.

If you like Lewa OS, here you can find fresh stable/dev rom for TCL idol x ( every friday there is a new dev version):
