Having a heckuva time finding the right firmware for unbranded US 509, managed to edit the url to get these: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/ezlooks_model_list.jsp?model=LGP509

But can't find diddley that works.

No, KDZ_FW_UPD accepts KDZ (crypted fw) only.

For Sprint's phone this simply rules doesn't work. I seen one URL to firmware which I get with help of serial number and these URLs are.... crazy. I can't figure how, what and where I suppose to make changes for getting FW which I want. Sorry.

I have no idea. What I know, I can say, that very often are not changes between these versions too much big. Languages remain same, but there is some differences in application which are preinstalled.

unbranded "N" Czech version

Hi,
I have tried to download unbranded Czech version of "N" firmware for OO. I followed instructions on page one. Unfortunatelly I am not allowed to post download string.

All I get is the error message "Not Found
The requested object does not exist on this server. The link you followed is either outdated, inaccurate, or the server has been instructed not to let you have it."

Can anybody help? Thx.

I'm afraid that it is not possible so easy like for P500 is. Sprint have rally stupid URL's with some string like hash code, or something and instead of KDZ it is can be CAB. There is only one way - get firmware with help of serial number. I'm not sure about... I will take a look.

There can be difference in versions, file name or some extension into name can be added/removed.

It depends... because also operators have their own version of firmware. For example Vodafone, I think, have 2.2.1 as V10n_00, T-mobile as V10p_00 (here in czech). What I know, I didn't see unbranded P500 here, and I didn't find unbranded 2.2.1.

Does anyone have the actual link for the Europe Vodafone 2.2.1 firmware (V10N_00)?
I managed to download the original firmware by using the phone's serial number, but I can't seem to get this right. Also, links based on operator codes in the first post don't work anymore.
