On my SOC DEFY SB 3.1 ROM tether is not working.

---
After few days on CNA 3.6.6 - UNBELIEVABLE SMOOTH!!!!!! - I am going back to WIUI.
The problem with cant mount still present.
Here are the steps CNA 3.6.6 as ROM:
1. Wipe data + dalvik.
2. Restore nand backup.
3. Reboot.
4. Stuck on M logo.
5. CWM informing E:\cant mount "thing".
6. Installing SB 3.1.
7. Reboot.
8. CWM - Tools - Formating to EXT3.
9. Reboot.
10. Wipe data etc.
11. Restore nand backup problem restoring nand secure because cant mount.
12. Loading SBF.
You don't need to flash a SBF again wiping from stock recovery should fix it.

I will add that in the OP WiFi & USB tethering not working.... use an app instead.

Let's Go ^_^

You shouldn't have done step 10. After ext3 conversion, we must not touch the data/cache wipe. And step 9 not required.

Did you try flashing a 2nd boot version? (all inclusive)

+1, except poweramp works perfectly fine for me. I usually try to not make unnecessary thank you posts, but amazing job Kayant. Installed your SB build after full wipe and holy crap..it's glorious :victory:
Using jellyX kernel 12/13 as well, and no random reboots or bootloops EVER :good:

Thanks for your work. aosp paradise truly lives up to its name

On slimbean 3.1.0. Installed it around 20 hours ago. It's awesome!! Only problem is i have random reboots. I have had around 6-7 already.:(
Installed after wiping data and caches. Tried with the quarx kernel and the jellyx. In the jellyx thread a few people have mentioned that changing CPU governer might be the reason. And i disabled zram and ksm as they were giving me reboots as well. I've had only 1 reboot after disabling them. And i've tried with the stock values and with overclocking. Same result. I love this ROM and want to stick to.
Can you guys share your settings under performance??

Yea reboots are a pain. Seems to be the common theme recently.

My setup on SB and jellyX:
Startup tweaks enabled - zipalign apk, sd boost, sysctl
Interactive and deadline - stock values (tried undervolting and got reboots)
zram disabled, can't set ksm
High end graphics enabled.

Hmm same here. Sticking to stock values.
And zram also caused reboots for me so disabled it.
Using almost the same settings. Trying out different i/o schedulers as they aren't resulting in reboots. Currently using zen.

Edit: Meddling with the number of background processes also gives reboots.

My experiences

I have noticed that with JellyX everything is stable after some time with zram, over clock and changing I/O schedulers but changing governors is the only problem for me and the cause of the reboots...

Weird... I can check the option to activate KSM, but when i reboot it´s unchecked again, so I tried your method, I changed the value to 1 and saved the file succesfully, but when i reebooted I checked that file and it was a 0 again.
Bottom line, I can´t enable KSM. Any thoughts?

Guys, if you are using latest JellyX kernel, just keep the cpu governor on interactive and it's stable! ;) (just like Kayant said, but he forgot to mention which is the default governor)

Other than that, could you please share Quadrant scores from the latest builds of CNA, SB and PAC? (do mention which kernel you are using, the cpu clock, governor and i/o scheduler, please!)

score came really low: 1490, but doesn't translate to real-world experience at all. this is, by far, the best rom i've ever used.
breakdown:
-1429 CPU
-1940 Mem
-1831 I/O
-971 2D
-1281 3D

(on SB 3.1, jellyX 12/13 kernel, default clock values, interactive, deadline)
