Kayant, will it be possible for you to port the xperia z lockscreen in your new aosp ROMS like mato_d007 did in his ROM? He said it is possible to port it into any cm10 ROM..

Guys sorry for the lack of news lately I have been busy with school and trying to get 4.2.2 working properly.... The problem I have is for some reason which I am still yet to discover there was something that was changed by Google changed in AOSP that has not allowed me to use my usual porting method that worked for 4.1.2 and down..... I have currently build Rootbox and PAC like you may know if you look at my github activity recently but am having different issues with both......

PAC is the closet to stable if compared to CM10.1...... Data and WiFi are finally working right but sdcard refuses to mount also having issues with PA perfs but that is probably because of some permissions being wrong I hope.....

RootBox has working Wifi but data doesn't want to work and I think sdcard is working on that but I can't remember now......

I have looked everywhere to try and find why my usually porting method isn't working on 4.2.2 but I haven't found it yet...... It amazes me how much Google change AOSP's configuration with each android version especially with 4.2.2 since it's only a incremental update.

I will try build SlimBean next and hope I have no issues with that we can have something to play with I know AOKP will probably have about the same issues as RootBox due to RootBox sharing some of AOKP's sources.

I wish I had more knowledge then this wouldn't be too hard to figure out....

I personally don't add any mods to AOSP roms has I feel they should be left as pure as possible like the developers made it to be and not everyone will like it also so anything extra will have to be added by you

Maybe the most suitable for me is Slim Bean, if I am right. It would be great to have a very stable and fast rom.
What do you suggest for me? Slim Bean? And shall use it with Jelly X kernel, or is it great with the implemented Quarx kernel too?

Good News guys..... After some work with SB i have finally been able to get RootBox working without the problems I had before so RIL is now working, WiFi and sdcard is somewhat working I just need to figure out why it's booting weirdly because it's inconsistent at the moment..... I would need you guys to help me on this. I need some people to test it and tell me how it behaves..... I will upload a test zip tomorrow if I haven't worked it out myself already..... I will work on the other roms aswell in due time.

Quick note -

Make sure to have checked rm-rf in settings in TWRP

If you coming from a 4.1.2 make sure to wipe after installing the rom then reinstall it this is due to old gapps being backed up so resulting in setup wizard FCs......

Everything works like in CM10.1 I think haven't fully tested it but it sure work....

The problems we need to fix now is to get it to boot properly without the red led staying on..... Temp workaround plug phone into comp or charger and the led will disappear however, it doesnt't fix the issue.....

Due to it not booting properly things like quick settings don't work as normal and properly some other issues

Please send me logs maybe that will help

I installed Slim Bean, and a minimal Gapps. It all runs fine. It is great how customizable this rom is!
I only have two questions. I did not found CRT animation when screen turns off. Can I active it somehow?
And can I change the unlocking icon when I am on lockscreen? Now it is a Slim Bean logo. Can I revert it back to a traditional padlock?

Check the slimbean official website for addons, there are a few different lockscreen rings to choose from. Make sure you get one for 4.1.2 though.

Hi kayant. I installed rootbox last night. It's a great Rom. Some thing I noticed:
- fm radio it's not working. In last cm10.1 it is working. Maybe your sources aren't updated?
- pa settings became so slow when changing dpi or settings
- bt isn't working too

For the rest, all work as the previous release of the last cm10.1. Data seems to work properly. Had some problem to get signal, but trying different base band several time works. Will use it for the rest off the day to test and I'll send you some logs later, but fm it's a important thing to me. For a first release its very very good. Thanks!

Guess they have gotten rid of JB4.1 related files, those are all for 4.2.2. Here is the one I use to get the stock handle, from the slimbean website when they still had the old files.

running on rootbox, everything works for me just missing performance settings
to get rid of led and you dont have charger with you, you can just test led in settings
