Just doing this because there is not happing a lot over here....

Not promissing anything as I don't have this device.
Ported my roms from the A500 RE-FLEXxx and CM10-FLEX to the A100.
But just want to ask a few brave ones to see if they work.

Offcorse before you start make a full nandroid
Full wipe, you know the drill....

CM10-FLEX (based on pjsports) with a Acer touch.(no aroma for you A100 users, sorry TWRP2.2 doesn't work with my aroma setup)
CPU @1.2GHz, lulzactive (ezterry kernel)
GAPPS included in the rom so no need to flash them seperatly.
AsusMail, weather, and blblbalabalabaa ........

Both roms are V6supercharged, got lots of tweaks and.....

Please don't ask for fast solutions if there are any , no time , just doing this so the A100 users have something to do.
And if you don't want to test , no problem it is not that I'm putting a gun to your head.

If testers report it works I will create seperate threads and start posting layout mods, info(there are some nice terminal commands) and more extra's.

Everything above TWRP2.1.3 doesnt like my aroma.
A500 got 4 different recovery's (pubrecovery, Thorrecovery, ra-recovery and TWRP), all work with aroma but I still got problems with TWRP 2.2...and up (TWRP-2.1.3 works)
I asked TWRP dev for a solution but he says it is something on my end.
Can be but it works with all recovery's and even with the 2.1.3. So in my opinion they changed something.
I double checked my aroma code and find no errors.
And now back to the roms .........................................................

Tested CM10!

All woking, all smooth.

Only things:
-Smartphone ui (so, no bach/home/app button on screen! How can I activate this?)
-Front camera upside down (actually I don't remember if it was an issue in other CM)

Quadrant:
4300 with etzerry kernel;
4000 with gm kernel;
@1,5Ghz

Sunspider:
1162!

Camera isn't normally upside down in our cm10, so no, its ROM specific. Phablet ui is default, unless he builds from source to change it you'll be stuck with it. Well, unless there's a way to force after building it. Try adding the line from wds' build.prop. Or he rebases on a cm10 that had it already.

Edit: the missing nav bar is a 7" unique bug that I fixed months ago on the a100 but seems isnt integrated into the a500, it doesn't have this issue. Again needs built with it.

I'm really surprised you guys aren't jumping all over this build. Lol
I haven't flashed it yet, but I'm testing a different private build ATM.
I'll prob give this a test run tomorrow.

Cm10 flex is very smooth and quick. But not able to be navigated without a Nav bar. It does look great though.

I will be trying out re-flex in the next few days.

What if you just built a series of custom shortcuts with say apex launcher? I know you could.

Oh yeah, you definetly could make it work. Apex is included too, along with a bunch of other goodies.

There you go, use CM settings to apply a back function to the home button. Could set is as a long press secondary.

Well, i was messin with kernels and gave this a quick flash.
I not find an easy way to work around the nav bar error.
Home key shortcuts are of a useless manner for this situation.
Seemed like a snappy rom though civato.

As far as I can see it is normal that there are no "nav bar." although to me that this is a big problem in terms of usability, everything else is going extremely fast and fluid, never seen and the A100 move with so much looseness. i will give you a time and try out well, because that looks very good, and many thanks for this work, he had the feeling that had been abandoned to the A100 ....

In RE-FLE Xxx-Shell SHOCK, not i get unlock button on, and i can't unlock the tablet, and i have everything configured well. I'm going to turn on and i was on the lock screen, but I do not come out or "pin" or "pattern." nothing. solution?

If these quirks can get worked out though, Civ's ROMS are some of the best I've seen. I also rock an A500 with his Shellshock ROM and I don't even want to touch anything else. Lookin' forward to some slick SHELLSHOCK love on my A100!!!!

I must have missed where this is normal, all my cm10 builds have one. In a couple UIs. Its not a known issue unless you helped develop jellybean on a 7" device.

And renders the rom unuseable.

In none of the two roms works the brightness. Now I am with reflex and a while ago, still with the standby display without doing anything, it has turned off.
