Are there any other roms other than echo and tek that work with our model?
No, you could just install root and stay stock. Debloat and install viper and exposed but after a few weeks the phone starts to slow almost to an unbearable point. That's all we have and it doesn't look like we'll be getting more as that locked bootloader is here to stay.

I couldn't take it so i went back to stock and just rooted my note 5 as i like switching up once and a while. Running note 7 port now from crisscross, beautiful. In a few days I'll go to teks new one. Note 5 still awesome.
excuse me? this is a s7 edge thread.

My apologies. I went on a rant, drinking and responding, not the best idea.

I fixed it now:laugh:
so your suggesting to not flash one of the roms. I'm experiencing the slowness right now and I just flashed tek a few days ago.

Did you make the changes to the kernel settings recommended all over the root threads ? have been using it and now Echoe for two months and have close to stock performance and stability with the engineer kernel .

Yes I did and it just kept getting slower. I tried both roms. I'm on stock rooted with xposed installed and it's quick. I haven't installed any xposed modules yet though so we will see.
