Yes, they do, but they generally have fewer features than the EMUI cam.

But you can remove the Gapps after installing, if you want. They included only a minimum package (equivalent to pico or nano OpenGapps).

Stock recovery and install with fastboot, as outlined on openkirin.net.

Try OmniRom Pie - alpha 4. It works good for now, i flashed it 24h ago.

Sadly no, it's not the cable..

Its been 12h since installed OmniROM Pie Alpha 5.2 and so far didn't see any bug, some minor bugs like camera taking a few seconds to switch between front and selfie, didn't notice other bugs, so far so good, I like it!

I'm still having heat issues on the latest beta. Even though there's no fastcharging enabled, my phone gets hot. Watching 720p60 videos in YouTube also makes it hot. Anyone else who has this?

By the way... is it fine to install custom recovery and Magisk after successful installation of any of those ROMs? I'm specifically asking about the Resurrection Remix OS. I installed it on P10 VTR-L29C432.

You can install it and use it without problems. Install latest official Magisk version, it works like a charm. ? Same device and rom here ... And Magisk.

Can you tell me which TWRP you had though? I installed this one -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-1-0-emui-8-0-4-04-2018-t3773449 ...
... but phone wouldn't boot into TWRP so it bootlooped. It just went to the starter TWRP Logo screen and wouldn't launch. I reinstalled the stock recovory so now my phone boots normally but apparently this TWRP version doesn't work for me. I'd greatly appreciate any help.
