You can download the rom from OpenKirin's site. https://openkirin.net/download/I can download rom from web and install it with twrp or stock recovery?
Thank a lot i use eva-L19 rebrand to AL-10 like youYou can download the rom from OpenKirin's site. https://openkirin.net/download/
You can't install it with TWRP, you need to have Stock Recovery and install it through ADB fastboot.
Here are the instructions provided by OpenKirin. https://openkirin.net/user_guide/openkirin-rom-installation-instructions/
Are you sure it is OT? Because I have a EVA-AL10 (not rebranded) which i updated over OTA to Oreo and i think the network on this Rom not working with my phone is a bug of the Rom (same problem with other roms except stock firmware) and this thread is made to report bugs.Let's discuss this in the rebranding Thread, because it's OT here.
I will answer and look how to fix
I could copy and paste your comments as my own, as your experience with this ROM reflects mine. Really happy, just would like to remove second sim icon, plus I seem to have multiple IMEI.I've recently installed the RROS beta2 on my P9 (EVA-L09 rebranded to AL10).
Gotta say that coming from RROS 7.1.2 this rom feels very sharp and snappy.
The Oreo layout is quite pretty, looks great. I haven't had any problems so far.
Both Huawei's and Google's camera work fine. Battery performance is fine, around 8hrs on moderate use.
Customizations are very nice, as expected from RROS.
But so far, the only issue I've encountered is the Dual Sim setting. For some reason, I can't hide one of the network icons from the status bar.
Going into the Sim Cards Settings and disabling the 2nd Sim slot turns off all mobile signal. Same with the 1st Sim Slot. So I'm stuck with two network icons on the statusbar.
The "No sim network hide" option makes no effect.
Not a letdown, but it would be definetly nice to have a cleaner look on the statusbar.
So far using this rom as a daily driver feels right. Just that minor problem to address.
Amazing work!
